Love to Shop? The Best Places for a VIP Experience {Luxist}

Nov 4th 2007 4:42AM Harvey Nichols in London have terrible customer service, I used to love how small it was compared to Harrods and (ugh) Selfridges, but I refuse to shop there anymore.

Their sales personnel are rude and unhelpful and would much rather talk to each other than turn around to see what the customer beside them wants, even after trying to get the salesperson's attention. If you finally get someone to help you, they will probably huff and sigh and roll their eyes every time you ask for something.

At one point I got sick and tired of the attitude and asked to talk to the floor manager. I was then was told that the lady that was at the counter, who had had the phone stuck to her ear for the past twenty minutes yapping about her weekend, was the floor manager. That is when I decided to shop at Harrods, great service even if I do tend to get lost inside.
