Jan 10th 2011 2:03PM OK - paste is never good to eat - It may not have given much credibility to your ooopinion - but I enjoyed the healthy laugh.
Jan 10th 2011 1:52PM HG in MN - I enjoyed your response - I haven't even read the pasta boat article - I just came here for the opinions - "infomercial crack" - hilarious - thanks for the laugh - I may look for a pasta boat in a thrift store so I can be her on Halloween
Jan 10th 2011 1:47PM ly said...I don't lug a heavy pot back to anything. I use a hand strainer or pasta scoop and pull it directly from the pot into my sauce.
and then what do you do with the pot of water - doo tell? please dont't tell me your reusing the same water. oh it's so much lighter now without the pasta - i get it - so you lug a lightweight container of water
Jan 10th 2011 1:42PM There sure are laws, and they get disregarded all the time - lead tainted children's toys come to mind from China...Hmm, I wonder where the pasta boat is made?
Jan 10th 2011 1:25PM Really - I think they are pretty - when you turn 108 let's see how good you look?!? (OK people that was my attempt at a joke too, if Joan thought it was funny she would say it, I'm sure) - My only wish is that it would have been on regular TV - since I will miss it - I love Joan's wit...I mean...it's just
Jan 10th 2011 9:34AM Pamela - there is no print out, because they want to force you to watch the commercial first - I knew it was there, and refuse to watch video news with sponsor messages first - I clicked play anyhow, after reading your message - and sure enough there cmae the commercial - I hit pause when these come up (it's not worth my time to be condiitoned like that) and quickly came down here to put my 2 cents in...
Jan 10th 2011 9:23AM You guys are soo right about the plastics in the microwave - just another money making scary scam in my opinion - sad, really sad - THE ONE thing good about the pasta boat is the creepy lady. Like she sells satans deadly sin of microwaving plastic with a smile on her face the whole time...And when my friends and I play cards and we forget to monitor what has been on the TV and an informercial comes on TV - I shout with Glee - HEY - Let's watch pasta boat instead of this!
Jan 10th 2011 9:16AM My, my, my - the spammers certainly are out in full force this morning - lol - let's hope they guzzle gallons of sulfates
Jan 5th 2011 8:46PM I looked into the Princeton report and found "While the majority of the laser pointers contain low to moderately powered diode lasers, more powerful lasers can be found on the market, usually imported from other countries. These pointers present a significant potential for eye injury and are often not properly labeled according to FDA regulations." - I guess they were made in China and bought at walmart
Jan 5th 2011 8:28PM wow - from 500 feet, in the dark, they focused a tiny lazer through a
retina the width of a few centimeters, on TWO pilots, past helmets -
windsheilds and who knows what other apparati, at a moving aircraft -
