Worst Airbrushed Celebs of 2007 ... So Far {Switched}
Sep 4th 2007 7:59AM People (esp. men) seem to be missing the core of the problem,that photoshopping creates incredibly unrealistic standards of what is beautiful for women!! Young women (and men) believe these images are real and are striving for these unrealistic standards. This society is becoming increasingly all about looks more than I have ever seen in 50 years. Too much plastic surgery going on, eating disorders, etc. Young women objectfying themselves worse than I've ever seen in my lifetime, as if their looks are their only value. I hope magazines will stop this practice, they have truly taken it to the extreme, and shame on theml
Miracle Puppy Needs a Name {Animal Hubbub}
Aug 15th 2007 11:26PM Ohh, I love happy endings! I believe dogs like that turn out to be special beings when they are the survivors against all odds, I know I've had several.. these dogs are always different, definitely angelic. May you both have a happy, long life together.
Soccer Fans Ruin Live Broadcast {AOL Video Blog}
Jun 7th 2007 1:15PM I would hardly call that major humiliation, looks like there was some security protecting him after the minor beer incident..The reporter did a great job. Too many soccer fans are idiots anyway, drunken fools trampling each other to death.
Husky Plays With Kitten {AOL Video Blog}
May 25th 2007 9:36PM I've always had dogs and cats. Some of my dogs would be aggressive to strange cats outside of the home, but they always knew that our cats were members of the pack, protected and played with them. Pretty normal for dogs to be this way with another pack member no matter what the species... but very cute to see the way the husky was playing with the kitten... and what a little lion that kitten was, and the way the husky was all submissive in the end... so sweet!
StyleFoul: Selma Blair fails to learn from Rosie's mistakes {Stylelist (Main)}
Dec 26th 2006 1:38PM You betcha she'll grow it out, because cuts like that are a pain and hideous as they grow out... Definitely does not a thing for her, very dykey--but if she's a lesbian than that's fine, good for her...
Maybe she's doing it for a role.
American Apparel gets all shiny {Stylelist (Main)}
Dec 2nd 2006 5:19PM For the teenagers they're fine, but for us who were teenagers, twenty somethings during the 1980's stirrup heyday---NO!!!, 40plus year old women will look ridiculous in these... So please ladies, let's not embarrass ourselves by indulging in this one season trendy trend.
Why did Vanished kill off its main character? {AOL TV}
Oct 12th 2006 5:09PM Yes, I do believe killing him was a mistake. The only thing that attracted me to Vanished was Gale Harold, otherwise I never would've watched it.
The plot was screwy, sometimes it was fun in a mindless kind of way, but the focus on that soap opera political family really grated on my nerves. I'll watch daytime soap operas if I want this kind of trite, overdone tripe. The ratings were not falling due to the Kelton character, they've been falling because the writing and the directing is mostly horrendous.
I doubt Gale Harold would act like a prima donna, he's an actor dedicated to his craft, so if he complained about this screw-up of a show and the role he was given... who the hell could blame him? Hope to see him in projects worthy of his time in the near future.
No more TV for Sarah Michelle Gellar {AOL TV}
Oct 11th 2006 8:59AM She really is a one-note type of actress, not much of a range in expressions, voice, emotions, etc. ...very flat personality in everything I've watched her in...and I don't think she has much in the looks department to help her along. I think she should count her lucky stars that she has been given the roles she has, that's amazing in unto itself. I don't see her as a big-screen stah movie actress, I would be shocked if she's offered huge roles, I predict she'll be in another t.v. series in 1 to 2 years.
Why did Vanished kill off its main character? {AOL TV}
Oct 6th 2006 1:42PM Gale Harold's career will definitely benefit in not being associated with this turkey of a show... but the show will not benefit from losing him I predict. I think the last episode probably created an even stronger empathy for his character from viewers who weren't originally watching due to fanship for the actor...so I forsee disappoint in that sector now that it is known that he is certainly dead.
I watched the show to see him, the show doesn't interest me all that much and now that he's gone, I'm gone.
Is it all over for Rachel Zoe? {Stylelist (Main)}
Oct 2nd 2006 9:24AM Why are you defending this woman? These sexless creatures look terrible with their childish bodies and oversized heads. Who are they attractive to? Not men like me. I want my woman to look like a woman. Seems like these anorexic celeb women(of all ages) are more concerned about how thin they photograph than being healthy-sounds like obsession to me, if that's all they care about rather than their health, personal relationships, etc. They probably have some secret ani society, giving each other tips on being a successful anorexic.
