Actress Jill Clayburgh Dead at Age 66 {PopEater}
Nov 6th 2010 10:44AM She had an amazing chemistry with the camera, it loved her, even though she was not a stereotypical beauty... kind of plain, but she could emote so that she was beyond beautiful. I am not surprised that she handled her illness with such courage and grace. My sincere condolences to her loved ones. May her spirit rise high on gentle winds.
Starbucks' new Vivanno Nourishing Blend {Slashfood}
Jul 18th 2008 2:30PM I tried the Choc Bananna with expresso shot today, the reason it is so bland is because no sweetening... I added two packs of splenda and tasted much better... Not bad, but a bit overpriced... I always have a coffee light frappacino for lunch, at least I'm getting a little nutrition with this!
Text Messages Lead Police to Kidnapped Girl {Switched}
Feb 27th 2008 11:47AM A big chuunk of this story is missing.. Why in this day and age would any sixteen year old do what she did? What was she thinking?! Thank goodness it all ended okay, she was very lucky.
John Connor says that Hayden and Milo are "gross" {AOL TV}
Feb 7th 2008 8:07AM Some of you are acting like this is a unique situation, this has been going on since the beginning of humankind. Men like younger women, why is this such a shocker to some of you? I do think a lot of this is jealousy and unhappiness from older women, that so many men want younger women(a lot of wishful thinking by men too!). Eighteen and twenty year olds have adult bodies, not semi-adult, we are not talking about children here.
I prefer women my own age, but each to their own.
John Connor says that Hayden and Milo are "gross" {AOL TV}
Feb 7th 2008 7:49AM This is ridiculous, there are plenty of much older guys dating 18, 19, 20 year olds.. I'm talking guys over 40. An eighteen and thirty year old is no big deal, certainly not "creepy". If he wants to deal with her immaturity, that's his problem-but maybe that's what he likes about her. A lot of men like to be mentors, it's the nature of the beast.
Stars Without Their Makeup {AOL Video Blog}
Jan 6th 2008 9:07PM Honestly most women over the age of 20 look like crap without makeup, actually they look normal-- it's the make-up that has brainwashed everyone into thinking that is what beauty looks like--actually it's all an illusion! And the fact of the matter is as women age, they more and more look like men, especially after forty. Too bad we are so controlled by the trillion dollar cosmetic, fashion, etc. industries. It's all fake and really gets tiresome trying to live up to those standards(and expensive).
Look Your Youngest {AOL Hot Searches}
Oct 30th 2007 7:19PM Prescription retin-A is the miracle cream, nothing else works like it... I'm 50 and have been using it since my twenties, everyone thinks I'm around 35 years old. Of course I work out and eat healthy, stay out of the sun, take vitamins and supplements, don't smoke... gotta live a healthy lifestyle too!
Ricki Lake on staying slim {That's Fit}
Oct 26th 2007 3:26PM I agree with those that a size 2 is underweight for most people over 5 feet tall, this size indicates that Riki is going to the other extreme caused by emotional problems-which is anorexia another eating disorder. And I also agree that most people don't have the luxury to afford what she has, and the stress alone of trying to make ends meet is enough to make people eat comfort foods and difficult to make time to exercise.
Grapes of Galilee, Using Jesus To Sell Wine {Luxist}
Oct 9th 2007 8:25AM Makes me want to buy it, plus they have a valid reason to use his image. I have no doubt that it will sell well, considering the region and history-I imagine many Christians especially will want the opportunity to drink from the area where JC lived and was baptized.
Oprah's fortune going to the dogs {ParentDish}
Sep 14th 2007 7:55PM That is just sick to read, with so many needy people in the world now. Oprah did a whole show on people living in a town outside of Chicago(I think).. and these people didn't have running water and lived in a third world horror type of existence. There are a lot of places in this country like that, Appalachia for one. It is very difficult for many with the cost of living, people who weren't born into wealth. Not everyone has a lucky break and then their children suffer. Plus all of the diseases that need cures, a lot of that 30 million should go to that. I think there is something emotionally wrong with someone who leaves money like that to their pets, leave enough to take care of them is fine, but my gawd what that 30 million could do to help others in need!!
