Aug 26th 2009 10:25PM Well said. Good common sense. Watch the PBS special Alone in the Wilderness. Proeneke - a guy from Iowa years ago (40 or more)did the same thing in Alaska on Super 8 video film. He built a cabin, and self substaining life. Absolutely phenomenal. That was the real deal.
