Report: Jeff Conaway to Be Taken Off Life Support {PopEater}

May 26th 2011 11:05PM Sam, I agree with you, sadly. To be given such talent, and seemingly throw it away is very sad. Oh well, he is no longer in pain, and apparently he was a tortured soul. RIP Jeff.

January Jones Shows Off Pregnancy Style (Photo) {PopEater}

May 26th 2011 10:56PM What the heck is a January Jones... never heard of the sorry excuse for a show she's on either. When I was younger, a female that wouldn't disclose the name of the father was called a skank... the axiom stays the same. No you don't have to be married to have a child, but it sure makes it less confusing when the child tries to find a husband or wife (to make sure s/he isn't marrying his/ her sister/ brother)

Video: Albino Redwoods, a biological mystery {Gadling}

Feb 27th 2011 1:26AM albino redwood... isn't that an oxymoron... unlike Mike who is just a moron

Video: Albino Redwoods, a biological mystery {Gadling}

Feb 27th 2011 1:23AM I dont know about trees, but I know that during the years following chernobyl, there was a sharp increase in albinism of the flora and fauna of that region. they believed it was due to the nuclear debacle that had occurred. At the same time, all sorts of life-forms have displayed signs and outright albinism throughout history, without nuclear input... just a thought.

Heroic Media, Radiance Foundation Continue to Put Up Billboards Depicting Black Women as 'Dangerous' {BV Black Spin}

Feb 25th 2011 12:49AM If Letitia James wants to be in control of her own body, that;s fine but she is sadly ignorant of Margaret Sanger's rants which as early as 1900 was a proponent to target African American / ethnic women as genetically inferior. Before she opens her mouth she should read the early history of Planned Parenthood... if it isn't the words of people fomenting genocide against Americans, i don't know what it is... it's vile and reprehensible.

Celebrate Christopher Columbus {AOL Hot Searches}

Oct 11th 2010 11:31AM First off, this whole Columbus Day is laughable, there is so much wrong with it.

1) The New World was already mapped my Amerigo Vespucci, it was a question of locating a short-cut to Asia... which doesn't exist.

2) Columbus was a Spaniard, raised in Portugal - he was not Italian

3) Columbus didn't DISCOVER anything, he CLAIMED the land for Spain.

4) The Indigenous that were here, had seen (Europeans) before, through Father Brendan, and the Vikings who settled here long before Europe was out of the dark Ages.

5) What flummoxed the Indigenous, were the firearms a supposedly "peaceful" retinue brought with them.

6) Most of Columbus' crew were thrieves and murderers, since no sensible person would go on such a foolhardy mission

7) NO ONE believed the world was Flat, at this point. Galileo had proven hundreds of years before it was round.

Raquel's hummus maker scolded by FDA for filth, mold in production facility {WalletPop}

Sep 10th 2010 12:31AM This should be a wake-up call to everyone who is too lazy to make their own hummus, or whatever... if you COOK, then you won;t get sick... if you want to eat out of boxes, bags, and plastic containers you're setting yourselves up for someone else's definition of clean....

Top 10 Music Video Cameos by Movie and TV Stars Before They Were Famous {Spinner}

Jul 25th 2010 9:39PM I remember Hugh laurie from "Jeeves and Wooster" where he played a ne'er do well womanizing spoiled brat of a a lord... but he had an uncanny knack for solving crimes on MYSTERY!....

Mexican singer Sergio Vega "El Shaka" killed {Celestrellas}

Jun 28th 2010 2:58PM It's very sad that "El Shaka" was caught up in the drug trade, even indirectly. I, myself, enjoy listening to narcorridos and the reggaeton that is generated by the gang-sub culture, even though I have nothing to do with either gangs or drug-traffickers. Maybe I should stop listening to them. My reasoning is this: some grupero wannabe will take "El Shaka's" place and set him/ herself up for the same ignominous death that Sr. Vega suffered. Such as with the cartels, if a General dies, especially in a violent manner, there are several below him, willing to put themselves in harm's way. It is a vicious cycle, and perhaps if we STOP glorifying this type of life-style (living vicariously, as it were through their lives and deaths) in some small part, it will stop being so lucrative.
