Potent Quotables: Lily Admits She's Too Young {Spinner}

Singer Seeks Solace in Sharks and Canadian Rockers {Spinner}

Jan 5th 2008 7:12PM You know......She is obviously a complete mess, but if she is doing
something, like getting away from the "lime-light" for a while that
might help her in some way, or help her straighten out her life, then
why not give some support for her instead of the stupid comments like
"the shark would get high if it bit her". COME ON PEOPLE! How about
some compassion for a change and give the girl a break. I know it's
easy to make fun of her, but let's give the girl a chance. I imagine
it's not very easy living your life with those cameras stuffed up
your as# all the time. The girl has the disease of addiction plus
probably a duel diagnosis to go with that so lets give her some
support instead of the childish remarks on here. Save those for when
you are around your other immature friends. I am an alcoholic, and it
really does a number on you if you are one of the lucky ones who even
makes it to recovery in one piece or even alive. It's a disease, yes,
I said a disease. If she had cancer along with her current problems,
would you be making fun of her still? Actually you probably would.
You could see in the picture where she was walking the street in her
bra, the sheer desperation on her face, so lighten up folks, please?
Why do people have to be so mean. I think it's ridiculous what we do
to popular people in this country. Of course, I realize these people
chose to be famous, and know it is a part of it, but damn, the pap's
with all the cameras have just gone way too far and have no right to
invade people's privacy ike they do.Maybe a shot if they see a sat
shopping or walking the street, but hiding in trees, or chasing them
in their car? MY GOD! I saw when lovely ole' Bittany was being taken
to the hospital that people were almost getting run over by the
ambulance just by running along side the ambulance and holding up
their camera to the window just to get a picture. Do you really want
to see her in an ambulance? Who really gives a rat's as*? I have see
enough of her lately, and wish her the best but am quite sick of
anything to do with her at this time. The biggest laugh for me is her
mom writing a book on being a "good parent". That not only takes the
cake, but it eats it to. I guess poor Lynn will have to bum some of
that $730,000 that Brittney gets every month. While I am sick of
"Brit-tales", I also wish her a healthy recovery because even if you
don't like her, she can put on a good show when at her best. I don't
think many of us could perform like she did in her TV special (a
couple years ago, pre-neglected kids). Her last performance was
rather pitiful I know, but she still is a talented person, despite
all her flaws, and there are plenty of them right now, don't ya
think? I just want sick people to get better, that's all. Sawwy fur
eny wong spailin or graymur missteaks. I iz in a hery.

Notable/Quotable: Big Boy {BV Newswire}

Jan 1st 2008 8:59AM Hey "are you kiding me"....I agree with part of what you said, but your are also kidding yourself..there are people with certain diseases that short of not eating at all, will make them gain weight in a flash and they honestly can't help it. There are also legitimate metabolism issues with certain conditions that cause people to put on excess weight. But I do think there are far too many people having surgery when they could diet and make lifestyle changes which would obviously be safer than some of the surgical options for sure. You make it so cut and dry and it's not quite as simple as you made it sound. Yes, people want a magic pill for everything these days, and many many people eat to comfort themselves, instead of dealing with the underlying issues causing them to eat.... plus, who in the hell exercises anymore besides with their fork????? I have a relative who just had gastric by-pass, and she was barely over-weight to begin with. I seriously doubt she needed to lose more than 35lbs or so and the doc did the surgery anyway. How absolutely ridiculous because I have seen her diet and get down to a good weight and she looked fabulous, but eventually put the weight on again. I can't imagine that the doctor would have even done the surgery on her because of the risks, but he did. My daughter's god-mother had by-pass surgery and it almost killed her. Honestly, it did, and guess what....now she is back to her original weight because she slowly stretched out her stomach again and is right back where she started. She even had to have the surgery to have about 50lbs of flab/skin removed after she lost the weight, plus she had a horrific time healing from both procedures. All for nothing. I think Docs are willing to do these surgeries regardless just to make the bling. We are the fattest nation on the planet I think, and how many fat chinese or Japanese people do you see? Seldom do you see a fat person from those places, and if you do it's probably because they live here now and have adopted our crappy habits. I also have a neighbor who is on disability just because she is fat. Now it's causing her knee problems and ankle problems, and she can't breath well while sleeping without help from a machine. I have had back surgery 9 times, can barely walk, and am in pain all the time, but the Gov't won't give me any disability and my home of 20 years is going to be sold in a foreclosure sale tomorrow morning. How freaking fair is that? I have to pay for the fat person who is fat "just because of Little Debbie", and now I have to move from my home because we lost my income. I am an average weight caucasion male. Maybe that is the problem as to why I can't get disability. Oh, and I only want it to be temporary as I don't intend on being one of those people who sit around all month just waiting for their "check". I want more out of my life than that and don't want to screw other tax payer's. Sorry if any of my grammar or spelling is wrong, I am in a hurry.

11 Questions With Keith Urban: No. 1 {PopEater}

Nov 27th 2007 3:32AM TO # 3,5,10,12,AND #15.... FIRST OF ALL, BEING IN THE PUBLIC EYE OR NOT, IT TAKES A HELL OF A LOT OF GUTS TO GO AND GET HELP FOR A PROBLEM CONCERNING ADDICTION. EVEN MORE SO IF YOU ARE A POPULAR PERSON IN THIS COUNTRY AND CONSTANTLY IN THE PUBLIC EYE. HE DESERVES RESPECT AND SUPPORT FOR THAT ALONE, IF NOTHING ELSE!!!!!!!! I AM SURE IT HAS PUT A STRAIN ON THEIR MARRIAGE, SO I COMMEND THEM FOR STILL BEING TOGETHER AND WORKING THROUGH THEIR PROBLEMS SO FAR.
IF YOU PEOPLE WHO ARE SIMPLY IMMATURE IN YOUR COMMENTS AND SEEM TO KNOW MORE ABOUT MUSIC THAT HE DOES, THEN LET'S SEE YOU GET YOUR WISE-ASS OUT THERE AND DO WHAT HE DOES. AND, HIS WIFE IS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL. SHE IS A FAIR-SKINNED LADY, AND MAYBE SHE DOESN'T WANT SKIN CANCER BY LAYING IN THE SUN JUST TO MAKE OTHER PEOPLE HAPPY. I THINK SHE IS ADORABLE JUST AS SHE IS. SHE IS ONE HELL OF AN ACTRESS, AND HE IS AN EXCELLENT SINGER WHO WAS BRAVE ENOUGH TO ADMIT AND DEAL WITH HIS PROBLEM. ISN'T THAT ENOUGH TO KEEP YOU WISE-ASS PEOPLE FROM MAKING IGNORANT AND STUPID COMMENTS TOWARDS PEOPLE THAT DESERVE BETTER? GIVE THE GUY A BREAK. I WISH THEM ALL THE LUCK IN THE WORLD, THEY BOTH ARE WONDERFUL AND DESERVE TO BE HAPPY AND ENJOY ALL THE SUCCESS THAT THEY HAVE WORKED SO HARD FOR!!!!!!!!!!!
#10.... WELL FORMED SENTENCE MORON......... " I cant believe he married Nicole of all people she need a suntan really badly .She look like a ghost....." DID YOU GO TO SCHOOL OR DID YOU NEVER LEARN GRAMMER AND PUNCTUATION, ETC... YOU ARE A MORON!(IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THOSE TWO THINGS ARE, LET ME KNOW AND I WILL TELL YOU.) GO AHEAD AND TRY TO GET YOUR GED, IF YOU EVEN KNOW WHAT THAT IS, YOU STUPID IDIOT!
WHY DO PEOPLE TAKE THE TIME TO WRITE SARCASTIC AND IGNORANT COMMENTS IF THEY DON'T CARE FOR THE PEOPLE BEING DISCUSSED? DAMN PEOPLE! IF YOU PEOPLE DON'T HAVE ANYTHING GOOD TO SAY, THEN JUST STAY OUT AND GO FAR AWAY, PLEASE?

Pole Vaulter Yvonne Buschbaum Retires, Plans to Change Genders {Fanhouse Backporch}

Nov 23rd 2007 12:28AM Come on people!!! I can't believe what #14 wrote. #14.... "I think this is so ridiculous.
People are not happy the way God
made them. And they just take our
whole being for granted. This is against
God's will totally. Hope she reconsiders
this deceision."
First of all, learn how to spell. It's decision, not "deceision". There are children born every second of the day with genetic afflictions that will affect them for their whole life until a cure is found for what is wrong with them. #14, If you had a child born that would eventually require a wheel chair and had to use a straw to poke at keys on a key board, would you say we needed to stop working on a cure for that affliction because it was "God's will"? Unless I have my facts wrong, wasn't Jamie Lee Curtis born with both sex organs, and didn't her parents have to make a decision as to what sex their child would be? I would consider that a genetic malfunction, not the will of God, and hell no, I wouldn't be happy about it as a parent, and tell people that this is our little he/she and we love it because it's god's will. I do think that some people are born into a body/sex that is opposite of what they feel inside as they grow up in to adults. Again, I don't for one minute think it's God's will for something like that to happen, I think it's a genetic malfunction. As far as being gay, it's not about how one does their job, drives their car, cooks their meals, it's about loving the same sex. Sure, there are extremes on each side of the spectrum, but I fully support the "decision" of this person. Who are we to judge how a person feels inside. I hope she makes the right decision for herself, and is finally happy and whole as a person. Maybe I have made this more simple than it is, but I just can't get over some of the ignorant things written in this blog. Especially those who want to bring God and religion into it.

Craftsman 22k Gold Plated Wrench Set {Luxist}

Nov 20th 2007 7:44AM I THINK THESE WRENCHES ARE REALLY COOL LOOKING, BUT I AGREE WITH KELLY (#3 ABOVE), I THINK THEY WOULD APPARENTLY JUST BE FOR SHOW. GOLD TENDS TO BE REALLY SOFT, ESPECIALLY ANYTHING ABOVE 14K GOLD. THE PLATING WOULD SURELY COME OFF, BUT THEN AGAIN, SINCE THEY ARE CRAFTSMAN, ONE SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETURN THEM IF THEY GET MESSED UP, RIGHT? IF I HAD THEM, I WOULDN'T USE THEM, BUT THEY ARE PRETTY NICE TO LOOK AT I GUESS. I SUPPOSE I WOULD RATHER USE THE $119.99 AND BUY MORE "REGULAR" TOOLS THAT ARE NOT SO "CLASSY". I CAN ALWAYS USE A NEW SET OF REGULAR WRENCHES OR SCREW DRIVERS, DRILL-BITS AND SUCH. I ALWAYS SEEM TO HAVE ONE OR TWO THAT SOMEHOW GET "LOST", AND DOESN'T THAT JUST PISS YOU OFF WHEN YOU ARE WORKING ON SOMETHING AND THE ONE YOU NEED IS LOST AND IT TAKES YOU 10 TIMES LONGER TO FIND THE THING THAN IT DOES TO DO THE JOB YOU NEED IT FOR? HA! THAT ALWAYS SEEMS TO BE THE CASE WITH ME AT LEAST!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Joe Nichols Enters Rehab {PopEater}

Oct 16th 2007 10:43AM you know what? We, as a country, don't have a clue what Alcohol and drugs are doing to us. Addiction is a disease, and should be treated as such. The people that are making "off-the-cuff" remarks are way out of line and need to grow up. Doesn't matter who it is.... going to re-hab takes guts, and will probably save his life. To make fun of him makes you a pathetic loser. I am proud of any person who has the guts to deal with an addiction! Period! Good luck Joe!!!
