The Soapbox: Playing alone together {Massively}
Oct 26th 2010 6:59PM My good, what a great article. As a mostly solo player, I hate being forced to join a group to progress. On the other hand, if I get the urge to join a group, it's great knowing I can. I had no idea so many people prefer to solo...lets meet up someplace, eh? LOL.
Razer introduces two special edition MMO gaming mice {Massively}
Oct 6th 2010 7:14PM I have an older Razer gaming mouse (no side buttons) that I bought for the blue glow parts and the odd but comfortable black skin. This was a what-the-hell sorta purchase, but I love this mouse! It's insanely sensitive (great for us non-Wacom Photoshop users), and it's got lots of settings for game play. I've had it 3 years now and nary a single problem. I'd for sure buy another mouse from this company should something come along that tops what I'm already using.
Vindictus is moving into (fully) open beta in North America {Massively}
Oct 1st 2010 12:18PM I got my hands on a beta key a little over a week ago, and have been playing heavily. I've enjoyed (at different times) the crafting experience in EQII, questing in WoW, and the skill progression process in EVE......oh, and exploring in all those games.
Vindictus has some really terrific things going for it, but I miss the random scenes and encounters one gets in an open map system. I hate that crafting depends totally on sometimes really rare drops from mobs. I have yet to join a group because the talk of lag is everywhere on channel 1. I'm getting really tired of doing each dungeon over and over and...over again.
But, if you like dungeon crawling and hack and slash, this game has that in spades. It will be interesting to see what the masses think once Open Beta day arrives.
Vindictus beta key giveaway round 2: Don't miss out again! {Massively}
Sep 22nd 2010 1:17PM Oooh I didn't think this thread was still going. Been scouring the net all morning for a darn key.
I'll most certainly pass on the two I receive from Nexon if someone can provide a current key. Thanks!
Charlton Modern, Estate of the Day {Luxist}
Oct 8th 2007 1:56AM I tend to think of myself of a bit of a minimal person in many things. Including homes. There seemed to be no rymn or reason here. The only picture I actually enjoyed was the bedroom view of the outside deck and the ocean glimpse beyond. The home seems nice enough, but I think an overhaul of the interior touches should be a futher plan for the buyers
Llenroc Estate, Estate of the Day {Luxist}
Oct 8th 2007 1:49AM I rather like the exterior, and interior looks of this particular property. I dislike some of the more pastel and gilted areas, and loved the areas with with real wood floors, railings, and trims. Inside, the house is just a tad too pale. I don't like a heavy wood look throught, but some additional wood detailing would help. And personally, I am all for the elevator, the "lower deck bar" where you can see part of the inside of the pool. Those are quirky things you wont often find. Could they look better? Yes indeed.
The Man's Kitchen {Luxist}
Oct 8th 2007 1:36AM After my first look at the jpg in this post, I have to say the photo look is rather dreary. Shiny, flat floors, minimal light in the actual kitchen area. Build the kitchen as it looks, use a gray or other neutral color tile floor, and add lighting in all the kitchen areas that can make it look warm, white for when your doing prep, and low light if your just getting a beer or warming up a can of soup.
The suggested clean quality of this kitchen are terrific, just don't go with the theme ambiance suggested in the posted picture.
This could be a GREAT kitchen with the correct lighting and flooring.
