Palin Friend: Sarah Wants to Kick Levi Johnston's A** {PopEater}
Aug 6th 2010 10:10AM Bristol needs to get out from under her mother's thumb and exercise some independence. Maybe her father likes being dominated by this woman, but Bristol doesn't need to be. Bristol and Levi should elope and establish residence with Tripp somewhere far away from Alaska. Then, if Sarah wants any relationship with her daughter or grandson, it will be on Levi's and Bristol's terms.
How A One-Night Stand Turned Me Into An Accidental Poster Girl {Lemondrop}
Mar 5th 2010 10:50PM Since you are so happy and thankful for your child, may I assume that you (a.) have not demanded child support from him through the family court system, and also (b.) have not accepted any public services for mommies and children that are funded by my tax dollars? I have no objection to you making all the babies you want as long as you pay for them yourself.
Overdraft fee replacement worse than the original {WalletPop}
Jan 25th 2010 8:45AM WRONG: "Think about it; If you spend $10 you don't happen to have on lunch with friends and get charged $35, the bank is essentially loaning you that $10 at a 350% interest rate."
That would only be true if you took a year to pay off the $10 and the $35 charge. If you pay it off in 1 day the annual interest rate is 127,750% !!!
John Edwards' Wife Elizabeth Edwards Wants to Meet Rielle Hunter's Daughter {Politics Daily}
Jan 5th 2010 6:39PM Child support of $214,920 annually for a 2 year old child exceeds the "3 Pony Rule." No child needs more than 3 ponies.
Is this child support? Or is it really mommie support? And why does mommie need any support? Don't BOTH parents have an obligation to support the child? It took two parents to create the child, and they both should be responsible for raising the child. Mommie should be paying child support too.
75 Percent of Young Americans Are Unfit for Military Duty {Sphere Lite}
Nov 4th 2009 2:17PM So, let me understand this ..... The army wants to take all the top achievers and leave the leave the dumb, fat criminals here for us to deal with. Why? I think Afghanistan would be a great place for for a dumb, fat criminal.
If the problem is that our youth are dumb, fat criminals, how about instead of sending youth to war, send politicians and their kids. Then we would never have a war, everyone would love us, and we could stop being unwanted policeman to the world.
Self-checkout machines cause 'stage fright' in shoppers {Daily Finance}
Nov 3rd 2009 8:15AM I won't use it because it takes a job away from a professional cashier, and gives me nothing. If the store wanted to give me a reasonable wage and health benefits for using their do-it-yourself checkout, I might consider it.
Are longer commercials the wave of the future? {AdJab}
Nov 6th 2006 11:59PM I recently watched two films that I recorded off broadcast TV in 1982. The commercial breaks were few, usually no more than 60 seconds, and never more than 2 minutes. They even showed the FULL credits FULL SIZE at the end of the films.
When did broadcasters sneak in 3 minute commercial breaks every ten minutes, and shrunken down, speeded up credits for movies? Were we asleep while they did this? I wouldn't even bother to try to record a movie today.
Vespa Hybrid Scooter {Luxist}
Apr 20th 2006 7:03PM In the late 1960s, my cousin worked for an electrochemical engineering firm in New York City that was developing Extremely high-tech, high-power, fast recharging batteries for military use. They also were experimenting with batteries for automotive use. They had two electric vehicles, and we had a lot of fun driving them on the streets of New York. One was a Heney Kilowatt, and electric car made from a Renault Dauphine. The other was an electric motorscooter. The scooter was the most dangerous vehicle ever conceived my man. It was VERY fast, had VERY quick accelleration, and was completely silent. Pedestrians were always stepping out in front of it and cars pulled out in front of it because no one could hear it coming.
