Dr. Frank Ryan, Celebrity Plastic Surgeon, Dies In Malibu Car Crash {Luxist}

Aug 20th 2010 3:46PM Under the tragic circumstances of his death, would it be too much to ask for you to refrain from making tacky and ignorant statements about Dr. Ryan's chosen profession? Yes, he did perform plastic surgery on some that were beautiful without it, but lest you forget that plastic surgeon's like Dr. Ryan are responsible for reconstructing and rebuilding the badly burned, scarred, or broken. Without such surgeries these victims of disfigurement might otherwise continue through life being gawked at, snickered at, and having people treat them as though they were "less than." He rebuilt many cleft lips and cleft palates and other such disfigurements in addition to his generous work with at risk youths through his charity "The Bony Pony Ranch". Just a thought.
