I also had bilateral TKR's one week apart. It was a long but successful process. I now can play golf, dance, walk without pain, ride my bike, swim, and do all the things I love to do. I do find it hard to get up off the floor (after playing with my grandies and greatgrandies) but I can do it ~ just not gracefully! Kneeling is also a challenge but I figure God will forgive if I just bow my head and give thanks for what He has given me.

Feb 1st 2008 5:51AM How can I get candle wax out of a carpet? The only idea I had was to place paper towels over the wax and iron on low heat. Anyone have a better solution??

Apr 17th 2006 9:25AM I always wear a watch ~ I don't always carry an i-pod or my cell phone.....esp to places where they are inappropriate like church or the movies. I do however rely on my cell phone to check exact time!!!
