Sep 4th 2011 11:02AM I got a dog someone was giving away. Her name was Salsa. I couldnt stand it for a second so my husband renamed her Sasha.It worked out well. We adopted a bassett hound that walked in my door one say and never left. Her name is Sadie Sue. She responds to Sadie, Sue, Suzy.

Sep 3rd 2010 3:54PM Children should have cell phones. There are so many perverts and sick tickets out there they need to protect themselves somehow. My sons have cell phones with NO texting and they know the rules about using them. There are NO pay phones anymore and a lot of people out there just dont want to get involved with anything they see or hear. When I was young my mother told me to yell "FIRE" in case of emergency because the truth of the matter is more people are likely to call 911 and report a fire instead of trying to stop an abduction because the abductor my have a gun or knife. So to the parents that give cell phones to their kids KUDOS to you.

Aug 25th 2010 9:20AM Veal breast?? Arent we GIGI? I have to feed my family of 4 on a very strict budget. I stock up when things are REALLY cheap. Like chicken at 69 cents a pound, and roasts at 1.69 a pound among those cheap steaks. Also make friends with your butcher and fish person at your grocery store. Seems to me this article is a way to get some recipes in circulation. Cheap cuts of beef are great slow cooked. We also have meatless days, just pasta with butter and garlic or breaded eggplant instead of steak. Where I live in the Southwest beef os a lot cheaper than chicken sometimes, so I guess it also depends where you live and where your meat comes from.

Aug 4th 2010 3:56PM My favorite at my school was their egg salad or tuna salad sammiches. My best friend and I split one of those everyday and a bag of chips. The salad bar was pretty good too. I went to an all girls Catholic school so the food was pretty good.

Jun 17th 2010 11:26PM I had a pacifier when I was a kid and I can still remember waking my mother up in the middle of the night to try to find it. I got rid of the thing myself(so she said) at around 3. My two kids never had a pacifier. I breast fed both of my kids and tried to give them a pacifier one time and they refused it.

May 17th 2010 9:09AM Funny I have a dog named Sadie too! She is a Bassett/Dachsund mix. I also have a Deer Chihuahuha named Sasha, she is a rescue dog. Her original name was Salsa. We couldnt stand it so my husband thought of something silmilar. I used to have rats also. We had a hairless one named Krispy. But for some reason we have always named our animals "people" names( with the exception of Krispy). We even had a dog named Abercombie, after a general in the Revolutionary War.

Apr 22nd 2010 10:43AM What the hell is wrong with these networks? The average size for an American woman is 14. Oh My God! How dare these women actually look the way women are supposed to look like. Curves and all, baby. I for one am proud of my curves. People like this who censor commercials are the ones sending the wrong messege to young girls, that all men want a skinny woman with a flat chest,no hips and no butt. No wonder why there is such a high rate of eating disorders in this country. Ive been a size 2 and Ive been a size 10, and I am more comfortable being "plus sized" and in 21 years of marriage my husband still finds me sexy and loves the way I look. So Kudos to all of us out there with curves and the confidence to flaunt them!
