Sequestered on a Cruise Ship: What Are Your Rights? {AOL Travel News}

Feb 16th 2011 10:44AM "I never had much interest in taking a cruise now I have even less. If they do confine you due to illness you should at least be partially reimbursed. After all you did not get what you paid for."

Wait just a minute-- you think the cruise line should have to reimburse you if you get confined?? WHY?? You are still taking a "place" on a ship, using their facilities, their room steward, their food. If you were on a land-based vacation and got sick and had to spend a couple days in your hotel room, do you think that the hotel should reimburse you, too??

I am sick of the "I'm gonna sue if I don't get what I want" mentality of people nowadays. I could see getting reimbursed or some type of credit if what happened was the fault of the ship, like you fell on a wet floor, etc, or like what Carnival did when the Splendor had the fire and all those people got reimbursed PLUS.. But if you are just common variety sick because you ate wrong, or you caught some virus (norovirus is NOT just caught on ships, but planes, too, and can take up to 7 days to show up!!), and it's in the ship's best interest to keep you confined so that MANY don't get sick from you, that's your fault, and there should be no reimbursement from any cruise line!!!

Army to Court Martial Officer Who Doubts Obama Was Born in U.S. {Politics Daily}

Apr 15th 2010 12:39AM Send him to courts martial for TREASON. Take all his pay and benefits away to E-1, dishonorable discharge and then LET A SOLDIER WHO WENT TO AFGHANISTAN OR IRAQ SHOOT HIM like the traitor he is!!!

When you join the military, you say that you will follow the orders of the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES. Not you will follow SOME of the orders, but ALL of the orders.. So this LTC is gonna PICK AND CHOOSE what orders he'll follow?? What OTHER orders has he ignored????

Travel trends: Are you a "Four-Percenter" when it comes to travel? {Gadling}

Mar 29th 2010 11:49AM My hubby is one of those 4 percenters. Maybe even "two" percenters, as he travels for work and normally spends AT LEAST 12 weeks a year on foreign soils. Asia and Europe are more common, but in the last 3 years, he's also been to Turks & Caicos, South America, Central America and Australia. While he needs a passport for Canada and Mexico, we don't count those. He also travels domestically, probably once per month.. he's been to every state, too. He doesn't like to travel, either, but it's part of his job. So he collects all the airline miles, and I, who LOVE to travel, get to spend them..

Finally gonna splurge and go first class for the first time on a transcontinental flight.. I may just decide I won't go back to coach!!

The Craziest Things We've Found in Our Bras {Lemondrop}

Mar 29th 2010 11:43AM LMAO.. The things I've put in my bra!!!!!!!!!

Let's start out by saying for many years I wore a size 36 I --yes, that's i, as in ice cube(all natural, thank you!)-- and I think the funniest thing I ever stuffed down there was a 50-210 telephoto camera lens. Mind you, this lens HAD to be 12 inches long... Nobody ever noticed it was there, and sure don't remember WHY I had to hide it!!

Like other ladies, I have used my bra/cleavage to hold drinks, carry phones, money, id, etc.. And in my stupid younger years, bras and cleavage were used to carry all sorts of illegal substances into concerts..

Feb 3rd 2009 10:05AM This woman is a nutjob, and she needs a psychiatric evaluation and maybe a mandatory hysterectomy so she can't have any more kids.

An investigation needs to be done to find out what doctor did the implantation, too, and he needs to lose his license.
