Jan 18th 2010 2:05PM He's not jealous of the president. He was one of his staunches supporters. On Larry King every night during the primaries pulling for Obama, against his wife's wishes who was a Hillary supporter. It's absurd to call every black person who complains about Obama, jealous. I too was one of the president's supporters. gave over a thousand dollars in donations and did my share of phone banking and voter registrations drives. But the approach the president took regarding Michael jackson's death is something I haven't come to terms with even. I don't think I ever will. He and the first lady were absolutely disrestful to this great black icon. I'm annoyed now with the US role in Haiti. As a black person, I cannot accept that we have a black president who has to become passive when some (not all) black issues need to be addressed. I guess the way I see it, we've been ignored too long . So if Obama is going to be the president who happens to be black instead of the president who represents black people TOO, then all of our efforts to get him elected were in vain.
