Chocolate Rooms by Prudence Emma Staite {Luxist}

Apr 18th 2006 7:30PM Interesting concept but I'm not sure if I want people licking my walls because you never know if someone has licked a ceratin portion of the walls and on a ranch like Marabou you don't know if a cow, a horse or a bear did the licking.

Vinters Weekends at Triple Creek Ranch {Luxist}

Apr 13th 2006 11:45PM Fine wine and Fine ranches, that's a nice combination. I've had some excellent wines from Joseph Phelps and the Pinot Posse at different events here in Steamboat Springs. Marabou Ranch would be a great setting for this sort of event.

Wyoming Estate, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Apr 13th 2006 8:02PM A truly spectacular home. I love how they did the tree roots into the rocks but would have kept that in just a few place to make it special instead of using it everywhere. In Steamboat we have Land Preservation Subdivisions where were are starting to see houses of this quality but for less than $10M. Marabou Ranch is a good example if the newest in luxury ranch subdivisions where you can get most the the normal benfits of owning a large ranch and many others you wouldn't get without the burden of managing and maintaining such a large property.

Jamala Ranch, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Apr 13th 2006 7:50PM That is a spectacular ranch. I'm a bit surprised by the price a 1000-2000 acre ranch in here in Steamboat Springs will go for $10-20 million so I would have thought a ranch on prime coastal property in California would go higher. I wonder if they are just bumping up against whatanyone would spend on a piece of land and it would be hard to develop. In this case I would recommend splitting it into a few large ranches and making it more accessible to buyers while increasing the owners returns.
