Cheap Chic Ideas From Christina Aguilera's House {Shelterpop}

Mar 17th 2011 5:00PM This decor shows that she is a very interesting person and very colorful. I like it.

I have a neighbor that lives in a white house - everything in the house is white and she always dresses in white???? No color and a very dull person.

Confessions of a Mortician (Funeral Director) {AOL Jobs}

Feb 6th 2011 11:33PM As my experiences as a young child definitely helped me make a decision that I was never going to be buried in a casket and covered with dirt. My heritage is Italian and being born in 1938 I went to many Italian buriels. When I was a child the viewing of the bodies were in the homes in the parlor with alot of flowers. I don't believe embalming was being used yet. That is why all the flowers to keep the odor down. The mourning was horrific with many of the people kissing the corpse and crying loudly. My family lived next door to an old couple. I can remember that the old gentleman always wore a straw hat and bib overalls and he had a huge dowers hump on his back so he walked all bent up. One day I was outside playing and I asked where (Mr. Bookva) was. That was the old German gentleman. Someone said to me that he was in the house asleep forever as God was coming to take him to heaven. I can remember as if it were yesterday but someone picked me up and took me into their parlor (livingroom) approached the casket and bent down and told me to give Mr. Bookva a kiss on on the cheek to say "goodby". I remember the cold feeling and seeing his face. That all was very horrifying to me. I saw all the old ladies in their black dresses and crying seemed like many days. When the bodies were buried at the cemetary they always lowered the casket into the grave during the ceremony. The whole thing is still embeded in my memories. When I saw the first casket intombed in a drawer in a vault at the cemetary that definitely was IT! I have all my pets ashes in a huge drawer waiting for my ashes and my pet's ashes to be scattered in a place ce in the state where I was born in and used to hike and walk my dogs many years ago. This is all stipulated in my living trust.

Family Fights to Keep Pet Pig for Autistic Son {Pawnation OLD}

Aug 7th 2009 9:22PM Let the boy have his pet pig and as far as the city is concerned - in the future make it a law that you must have a special permit to have a pot belly pig as there will be people who will over take advantage and have lots of pigs. And usually those people are Jerry Springer specials.

Paris Hilton's Dog House Costs More Than Many Homes {Luxist}

Aug 6th 2009 3:15PM Is the same Paris Hilton that had 2 or 3 of her dogs eaten by Coyotes??? I understand her animals are not closely watched and get out on the street due to not being supervised. She would be better off doing volunteer work at the animal shelters and donating her over abundance of money to animals at the shelters. She is not a real person!!! Just all show!!! Makes me sick!!!!

Thrifty parenting leads to sagging diaper sales {Daily Finance}

Aug 2nd 2009 7:06PM I had two daughters 17 months apart who are grown women today who choose not to have children in this hopeless world. Wise decision - yes! They were pottie trained before 14 months old because of the cloth diapers and cotton training pants. The paper diapers hold in the moisture and because of the constant warmth the child doesn't experience discomfort if they are left on soo long. And as someone said - the paper training pants are no better. When a kid can come to you a and say my diaper needs changed - - something is very wrong!!!! Lazy parents. It is not that hard to wash cloth diapers.

Daily Fit Tip: Chewing on ice could be a sign of anemia {That's Fit}

Jan 21st 2008 2:12PM My Mom who passed away 2 years ago always had to have her cup of ice to constantly chomp on. When she was pregnant with her 3 children including me she craved coal. She loved it like candy. It is a good thing that we were living in a coal mining town in Pennsylvania so coal was easy to get. She definitely was anemic especially later in her years.

Crocs cause 40 escalator accidents {Stylelist}

Sep 14th 2007 2:08PM I bought a good pair of clogs for the comfort I had heard about. I now can stand stand and walk in comfort with these ugly shoes but at my age (69) I am a vain person who will suffer with handsome shoes. Comfort comes before pain. So to you whoever has not tried these wonderful shoes I feel sorry for you.
