Why do I say that? You are not treating yourself with the respect that God treats you with. God is a gentleman and he gives us grace and forgiveness. You are not forgiving yourself for your personal wrongs and you are allowing these negative men in your lives to treat you in a punishing way. It is so bad that we women refuse to read God's Word and realize how wonderful we are to the Lord. Do you know that a true Christian Man is supposed to honor his wife? Apostle Paul stated that Men are to Love their Wives as Christ Loved THE CHURCH! HOW IS IT WE BELIVE THAT WE ARE SPECIAL TO CHRIST BECAUSE HE DIED FOR US AND YET THE MEN WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHRISTIAN AND THE WOMEN WHO ARE SUPPOSED TO BE CHRISTIAN CHANGE THOSE VIEWS WHEN THEY GET MARRIED AND BECOME VERY SELFISH? CHRIST DIED FOR OUR SALVATION AND THEN ALSO WE ARE SUPPOSED TO WALK IN HIS LOVE AND MERCY TOWARD ONE ANOTHER.....HOW DO YOU LOOK TO CHRIST AND NOT TREAT EACH OTHER WITH RESPECT AND CONSTANT LOVE? IS CHRIST LOVE MAKEBELIEVE....OR ONLY FOR CHURCH ON SUNDAY? AND WHAT ABOUT WOMEN WHO CHEAT WITH OTHER WOMEN'S HUSBAND'S? IS THAT PROPER? WHERE IS YOUR WALK IN CHRIST? HOW DO YOU THINK THAT PERSUING ANOTHER WOMAN'S HUSBAND WOULD BE PROPER IN THE EYES OF THE LORD? OR JUST PERSUING THE MAN AT ALL? AREN'T YOU SUPPOSED TO BE FOCUSING ON YOUR SALVATION IN JESUS CHRIST AND BUILDING YOUR PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP IN GOD...NOT FOCUSSUING ON SEX, AND IMMORALITY? Hair Weave Saves Woman's Life! {Blackvoices Main}

Problem...my hair grows gray too quick.
So that is why I wear it. But it has the problem of
gray hair peaking out...before I have the time or money to either dye or replace my weave. Can somebody help me with this?

Feb 17th 2009 3:09AM I do not and have never eaten, chittlerlings, hamhocks, ---my mother NEVER EVER COOKED COLLARDS,
AND i CANNOT made a soulful plate of mac and cheese either!
My mother's people were from Virginia and were 7th day adventists. They were not your traditional black folk...so that is wrong to identify black people with that food for me. I eat regular roasted chicken...not traditional FRIED CHICKEN....my father was a diabetic...so all those traditional BLACK FOLK SOUL FOODS WERE OFF LIMITS TO my father and our household in Springfield Gardens Queens when I was a child.
So yea...to me that add is very racist! I love fried ,mushrooms, and steamed shrimp....and baked ziti!
So where is that listed?
I love to cook turkey for ThanksGiving....I am an American.....I eat the same foods that everybody else eats...I am not defined by race with my food!

I dunno! I can barely put food on the table after I pay $1600.00 for a RENTAL for myself, my mother and my son! My Mom is 78 years old. I lost my husband to a illness, and my son is15 years old. I rent the two main floor and 2nd floor to a lovely home in Queens Village. I have full access usage to the back yard. I have a front entrance and a back entrance. Total cement yard with yard chairs and I can have cook outs when I want. I just have to notify the landlord. Problem? I pay full utility bills....I live on a fixed income...so it is a major struggle. But I like the place for my son's sake. He needs his own space....so I gave him the master bedroom. It is approximately 13x 17 size. My bedroom is a little bit smaller but has very nice closet space. Area is quiet and I have a multicultural blend of neighbors....My mother loves the community!----So I scarifice for a little home based comfort....but it is still a struggle for the working class folk. I do not own....I just rent....so no taxe rightoffs or anything! Boo Hoo!

Jul 21st 2008 6:21AM I was blessed enough to sing in a Gospel Choir that sung back up for Ms. Winnans...She is funny, down to earth and a good hearted person.
She talked small talk with the choir and inspired us. She even made jokes about her hair piece(pony tail)....She never let on that she was tired, exhausted or anything!!!
We sang her song which went up the scale...Oh, I cannot remember the same....But it is about not giving up and basically reaching our goals in the Lord. This was with the McDonalds Gospelfest!
I was truly blessed to be in the midst of such a commmitted Saint!
