Sitcoms Make A Comeback? {News Bloggers}
Sep 11th 2007 8:29AM I think what should happen is that every Sitcom except for the really popular ones ( 30Rock, How I Met Your Mother) should be cancelled before this season starts. they should try then to experiment with all types of sitcom styles and try to revive the life we once had in our TV. Then they put out an excess of Pilots and let us choose the ones they should keep. that way everyone gets what they want. each station will pull in the ratings they want or need, and we'll get the satisfaction we've been greatly missing since Seinfeld, Friends, and all the really good sitcoms went off the air. i know this tried and true formula works because nowadays we vote on EVERYTHING from who's a good singer to what a couples wedding should look like.
