Dec 24th 2011 11:10PM The seeds were planted for this breakdown during the Regan administration when deregulation was believed to be the way to go. But the crooks in the banking industry, insurance industry, mortgage industry figured out how to take advantage of every possible way to transfer wealth to themselves. This resulted in the colapse in lending, and tricked down to car loans, business loans and personal loans. Obama's administration used the bailout method to inject lost money into the economy, but again their choices were very short on oversight, and again the money went into the pickets of crooks around the globe. Even the car bailout moneys went to foreign car manufacturers instead of to where it was suppose to go. Along with these facts, and I am not blaming any particular political party, for both are nieve, or deliberately involved in this raid on the working people's savings, equity, and retirements. Fortunately the USA is finally and hopefully keeping out of wars were we should have been taking care of our own first. That is wishful thinking on my part. But the people in power now and the future will most likely figure out how to get us back into situations where we will finally find no way out and be working slaves to their special interests.

Sep 11th 2011 5:54AM This is an example of the lack of knowledge and I will say ignorance about this breed that is circulating. I have a dozen or more different breeds of dogs, and I can testify that the two pittbulls I have owned over a 12 year time period are the best family dogs I have enjoyed over 50 plus years of having dogs as pets. Nether dogs have proven to be aggressive, or territorial, or intolerant to other dogs or other animals. Neither dog has any tendency toward personality instability. My male currently lives with 3 mini pincers and they adore him. They like to cuddle into his front paws when sleeping. So you can take your mountain lion and stick it where you have no tan marks for your comments.

In truth it does not say this case was related to MJ, but the article leads the reader to believe it was MJ that person failed in a drug test. Anyway, I think this court ruling is wrong, and your right that a person can make a mistake when your young, and mature enough to never do it again. Its quite a bit unfair, but with insurance as it is, the long shoremen association handing heavy freight do have a legitimate worry if someone might even do this at work, he could kill someone or himself, and their insurance would put them out of business. So any known possibility of a risk leads them to seek the right to not hire someone who has a history of abuse of substances, even alcohol!

What a fricken sterile work environment and dangerous place to work in if your male. The extemes are obvious, but most men are the agressors in male and female contact. Its how God made men, and how God made women. That was before women's lib ofcourse. Now the work place has become a mine field for men. We have seperate bathrooms for men and women, so why not have seperate buisinesses for men and women. Better idea!? Ofcourse not, that would be discrimination based on gender, but oh so much safer!

Jan 12th 2011 1:05PM When I owned my own aircrafts, I would frequently use my cell phone while aloft, and I can tell you that cell phone transmission does NOT in anyway affect navigation or VHF transmissions on aircraft frequencies. This whole flap about safety is totally contrived as using a cell phone does not affect the safe operation of an aircraft. PERIOD! It maybe annoying to another passenger sitting next to you, but that is not a safety issue either.
