Mar 28th 2006 10:12PM This project definitely has a lot of potential as long as they are able to secure financing and find a Pro sports team to occupy their arena. A large percentage of the 100,000+ NASCAR fans will stay there during the race and many of them will return throughout the year if they like the casino/sports complex. But ultimately the largest draw will be the flat rate $59.00 a night rooms, because as nice as the Bellagio and Wynn are, not everyone is willing to spend $299 a night on a room. My only criticisms would be that horrible football field carpet they have planned for the casino, and I think that TEN night clubs might be a bit of over saturation, 5 or 6 would be plenty for this type of resort. Overall a very good idea if they can pull it off.
