Suddenly, Earth-Friendly E-Readers Are Everywhere 8 {Switched}
Sep 13th 2009 10:20AM I love my Kindle 2 because I do not have to make the effort to search the used bookstore for older edition books and when traveling I do not have to give up clothing space to pack several books. The best part is that you can down load a book as long as you have cell phone service. The battery lasts a while if you remember to turn the wireless connection off after buying a book.
I hated the fact that I spent $350 for it just 3-4 weeks before Amazon brought out the DX model and reduced the cost of Kindle 2 to $299. I asked for a rebate of the $50 in book purchases but Amazon did not agree.
I think I am reading more books. The Kindle 2 reader allows you to have a free sample of books before you buy.
One drawback is that you cannot trade books with family and friends and therefore you have to pay for each book yourself.
.
My two daughters have Sony readers. One travels for her job and one is an at home mom, but both are avid readers and love their Sonys. You must have internet connection to download books to a Sony Reader.
Bill Cowher Signs Contract for Next Season ... With CBS {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 2nd 2009 9:41PM Steeler fans love Cowher and I am one of them. We finally got the one for the thumb. It wasn't just Cowher's game but Rothlingsburger, Bettis and all the other players who really made the Steeler Nation proud of their accomplishments. That was a year of hard work on all their parts and not something most teamms can repeat every year. Thank you to the players of Super bowl XL for another bowl victory. I have been a fan for a long time and saw the two bowl games in Miami. Cowher does a good job of brodcasting on CBS. Stay there and enjoy the easier schedule.

Gucci Drivers {Luxist}

Driving shoes have a softer sole that continues up the back of the shoe or the heel is made of a softer material to protect your auto carpeting around the gas and brake pedal.
They really make sense for protecting your carpeting; however, I agree there are some very good ones for less than $400.
Limbaugh: Classless Players Look Like Bloods and Crips {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Jan 21st 2007 4:34PM The dancing after every play is rediculous. Isn't that why players get paid to make great plays? Look at Tiki Barber. When he gains yardage he gets up and hands the ball to the official and then returns to the huddle for the next play. That is a class act in my estimation.
The celebrating would stop, if the TV cameras stopped showing the rowdies celebration. Parenting 101: No positive reinforcement usually will stop the improper behavior.
The Dow Jones Paparazzi Wines Index {Slashfood}
Jul 7th 2006 2:11PM Four friends visited over 30 wineries in the Santa Barbara area last June. We found Fess Parker's wines very ordinary. One of our favorites, but not related to a personality is Four Vines near Paso Robles and Cambria near Santa Maria. Also Kevin Buckler Porsche Cup winner and driver who placed first at 24 Hrs of Daytona and 24 Hrs of Le Mans produces great reds at his Adobe Road winery in Petablum, CA.
Seacrest out ... of his mind to buy a house for $11.5M? {AOL TV}
Apr 11th 2006 11:16AM Does Seacrest really care what we poorer people think? He spends his money as he wants, as we all do to satisfy our needs and wants.
