Obama Rebuts 'Grumbling' from African-American Supporters {Politics Daily}

Dec 22nd 2009 8:05PM Maybe they are threatened by the SMART part rather than smart Black. In business you always try to get rid of the competition. It doesn't matter if they are black or white, if they are smarter than you they are a threat (in a business sense) to you. Not everything is due to racism. Somethings are due to being human and competitive.

911 was more Clinton's fault than Bush's. Clinton had the shot at Osama Bin Laden and chose not to take it. The Iraq was was approved by all of congress minus (I believe) 1 Senator. Katrina - I have to agree with you - Bush could have and should have done better. But if you want to throws darts, Obama has already beaten Bush in the screw up department. Seems as though everytime he opens his mouth he makes a mistake. 3 months to decide on Afghanistan? This was one of his big points during the election, he should have had that decided a long time ago. No excuse for delay.

Dec 7th 2009 11:21PM Tommy,

Congress - not the President declares war. Barack Obama is just starting and has already spent more money than Bush did, and unfortunately he is just warming up. Heck, if he gets his way he will spend several TRILLION more dollars (from where I don't know because we don't have it, but that doesn't bother him) before the end of the year. We all have to live within our means, unless you're a Democrat - then you can spend other people's money to try and buy votes and help those that normally won't help themselves. Bush and Cheney did screw up but Barack is making them look like screw-up rookies.

Oprah's Interview With Sarah Palin: Former Governor on Bristol, Levi Johnston and That Katie Couric Interview {Inside TV Blog}

Nov 16th 2009 8:14PM ----- National political leaders should posses great intellectual depth and knowledge of international affairs and history.
------- So why do we have Barak in office? It's clear he doesn't possess any of these traits, nor integrity, experience, or values. At least with Bush we got the last 3 traits. I didn't like what Bush did, but at least I respected him being able to stand up for his views/values. Barak -- does he have those?

Nov 16th 2009 7:58PM You probably voted for Barak and are now calling Palin a liar? We knew Barak was lying and every day another lie is revealed. I wake up every morning and ask myself "What is Barak going to screw up today?" Sad that a President has gained such notoriety so early in his term. In that respect he beats even Bush. (I didn't like all his decisions either, but at least he told it the way it was instead of out and out lying like Barak.)

Nov 16th 2009 7:54PM Megan, How mean and spiteful you are. It's funny how you must have been screaming your lungs out over BUSH LYING, but you are probably quiet as a mouse while Barak rapes and pillages the American people and the American economy. I hope you are right -- that things will be miraculously better in the next couple of years, but I am not holding my breath. He is constantly creating new laws of nature and economy that will cause either his downfall, the downfall of America, or both. I hope we can stop him and you from ruining what is still the greatest country in the world. The only problem Bush had was his spending like a Democrat.

Nov 16th 2009 7:45PM What? At least she wasn't using a teleprompter. Jeeze - our President uses one constantly and he is supposedly the genius, while Palin does it without one and has a slip and is an idiot? I don't think so. If you look at the record, we've got more stupid things coming out of Barak Obama's mouth than out of Palin's. "I don't know much about it, but the clearly the police were at fault for arresting my extreme left wing friend/professor." (Obviously a paraphrase.) We could be here all night if we wanted to document Barak's mistakes.

Nov 16th 2009 7:38PM Jo - How did you get her as being a failure as a governor? You could only hope (and it would only be a hope because it clearly couldn't come true) that Barak Obama were to do such a good job as Sarah Palin. We are seeing that now. He is lots of talk and little substance. It appears as though Palin is the reverse. Less talk - more substance. Let's see how she does versus Barak (if we still have a country when he's done).

Nov 16th 2009 7:30PM Stanley -- I guess we know who you voted for. How's that working out for you. I hope it's better than the majority of Americans who are paying for Government Motors (GM), going to pay to save the world (Tax and Spend), and to heal every non-paying soul in America while screwing up the medical of the 80+% that are happy with their care. Yes -- your vote is working out well. I'll take a Palin over a lying manipulative Obama any day.

You Control Gas Prices! {Politics Daily}

Apr 29th 2008 6:51PM It's funny how hypocritical so many people are. On one hand we have people crying about America being in Iraq only for the oil. You hear statements like "No blood for oil". At the same time they say "NO" to drilling in America (Anwar, off various coasts or any of numerous other areas where we DO have oil). So it's OK to drill for oil in other countries and allegedly destroy their ecology, but not in America. As a former (and still believing) nature lover I have to say that we are not being fair to America or it's abilities. When I was in high school I complained about anything that could hurt the ecology. Much of these complaints were valid because we seemed to screw things up pretty good (in the 1960s-1970s). Now however we are much more able to go into places and drill quickly and efficiently while leaving a miniscule footprint. We are hypocritical when we say it's OK to use their oil but not ours. It's also hypocritical for us to NOT use the natural resources (with wisdom) of our country. If we continue as we are now, we will have enrichened numerous countries around the world for decades (by buying their oil), and will have found (coming soon I imagine) a new energy source, but will have left our own valuable resources under the ground. It's not fair to the world or more importantly to America. Drill here, refine here, and sell here. This will eliminate the devaluation factor of the dollar and allow us to gain control over our own oil prices, use our own resources wisely, and strengthen our nation by not being influenced to go to war should oil threaten our economy.
