The originators die POOR and the youngsters make millions. Get over it! Apr 7th 2010 10:44AM BTW - I agree with all the rules, but you have to rework #5 - as I mentioned in my previous post. I do have a comment about #2. Not that I disagree with the rule, but not all drunk people are loud / noisey / potentially dangerous. Some will just nicely doze off on the plan. It's sort of their "I am scare to fly / defense mechanism." My take on #4... unless it's a baby that will remain in your lap the entire trip, yes. even toddlers need their own seat. They are people.

Apr 7th 2010 10:39AM Rule 5 is an ANTI-FAT rule and it isn't fair!
I once saw this body builder / in perfect shape on a plane and no one wanted to sit next to him, because his shoulders were so broad it was wider than any FAT person I've ever seen. Would they ask him to buy two seats? You know they wouldn't!! Plus - his BUTT would fit just fine in one seat. They might as well charge people per TOTAL INCH of their body. LOL! That was sarcasm, mind you! If it's a WEIGHT issue, and you know this came out during high gas price times... Then weigh all passengers and their carryons as they board the flight and charge accordingly. Make is so you have to pay an UPCHARGE if you are over whatever maximum weight limit you wanna set! Don't say it's due to passenger size, because those olympic body builder types have NO FAT whatsoever on their bodies and you know you won't be charging them for 2 seats. Maybe you can make a fat section - with extra wide seats and people who are too wide for regular seats have to purchase those tickets at a premium. Some airlines call this first class. LOL!
