Aug 18th 2012 1:54PM I worked for Best Western Inn & Executive Suites for 14 yrs., When I left that job the comp breakfast had evolved from just a few items, to a grand array of food & beverages for the guests. 3 types of coffee, 3 types of milk, juices, boiled & scrambled eggs, breads, biscuits, with fresh sasauge, cereals, hot cakes, & waffles from a large waffle iron, do-nuts, bananas, apples, oranges...etc. It takes one hour just to setup. Compared to other hotels, ours was much more superior.

Jun 4th 2012 6:12PM I've heard about "Big Mo" ....some people I know have been there several times & they live about 50 miles away. I'm an old timer & used to go in the '50s & '60s. After I get a bigger car, I'd like to go some time and take some people along too.

Jun 4th 2012 1:42PM There must be some novel solutions for the Drive-ins to come back & make a "go" of it. One place had a popular band play for about 90 minutes before the show started so the patrons could relax & dance. Best dance couple won a prize. Another sold bar-b-que & beer.
Some give away tickets or deeply discounted a "book" of tickets to use later. Upgrade the concesstion sales by offering more lucrative food items. Have a classic auto contest for coolest old cars ( 55 Olds, 57 Chev., 64 Ford Sunliner, etc,) Provide some metal open air roofs or some gizmo to keep rain off the windshield........

Starlite, Sunset, Twilite, Beltline, Skyway, North-21, etc. Sound familiar ?
