Oct 26th 2006 3:27PM Thats awesome I know the house it's nice but needs alot of renovation. I have spent a few afternoons by the pool there lol. Amagansett is also home to Paul McCartney it is the greatest town in all the Hamptons. It also has the Best Restaurant "Pacific East" and the best live music venue "Talk House" We look forward to thier arival.
Corkage Fees, How Much Is Too Much? {Luxist}
Apr 6th 2006 5:43PM Corkage fees are a must for every restaurant, but quite frankly as a Restauranteur I would like to do away with them entirely, and say you cannot bring your own wine. Restaurants are in the business of selling food and BEVERAGE. You can't bring your own beer to a ball game. This business is a tough one and we hand select all of our products including our wines, we mark them up, sell them, make some profit, pay our staff, pay our rent and the rest of our bills, and with any luck pay ourselves.
