Jan 18th 2010 10:25AM But Deb, whilst the court of law is good, the problem, in my opinion, is the jury. They can be reasonable, they can be prejudice and can discriminate -- something they are supposed to make decision on but fail in doing and instead some of them are the opposite of the case
Jan 29th 2009 4:39PM My problem with some of the FA is that they are too much into showing how 'big' they are by always trying to get people arrested. I was on my way from UK and I just asked the FA is she would let me have a glass of water. She was already passing the drink around and looked at me very dirty or nasty. I told her to forget it. You don't want your name on the 'no fly' by some damned nasty FA trying to show how powerful she is. I hope this guy win his case so that these FA with the attitude can learn to know their place
Dec 9th 2008 11:25PM To BettyJ, get over it! The teacher was just trying to help these young people to understand slavery. If she were to just talk about it, how were they going to get the concept of slavery without giving them or showing them an example. This thing wouldn't have been in the news were it not that the mother is making a big issue of it. There are much more important thing in this world to focus on than a teacher trying to teach and or educate these kids. Too many people think that just because the teacher is white therefore she is a racist. If she had used white kids it wouldn't have made sense because it was black people taken into slavery. Oh, please GET OVER IT. The teacher didn't do anything to be a racist. What about black on black racist? Why don't you talk about it for starter!! And, FYI, I am a black African not black American
Dec 9th 2008 1:49PM What is wrong here? As a black African (Yes, Black African NOT Black American), I support the white teacher and anyone who disagree with me, is fine and I accept your opinion; otherwise, get over it. I am in the field of educator myself and what this white teacher did was merely trying to help the students really understand the evil of racism and slavery. Some of you are so narrowed minded and cannot see the main issue here. Some of you jumping on this teacher calling her a racist. She is NOT a racist but was trying to help the students understand how evil or wicked slavery was. How many of you have even visited Africa or know anything about Africa other than what you read in a book. If those girls or students were my child, I would be proud of them and the teacher would have my support. The mother just wants to get attention and I would suggest she get over it.
Apr 6th 2006 4:30PM After looking at the 'diamond bikini' I must say she is a beautiful woman and that is why she is not afraid to show 99% of her body and she is intelligent because by modeling the diamond/bikini, she will get some of those people with unlimited pocket trying to contact here and she is making money by modeling. As for the 'dimond/bikini' you can be assured that whilst I would want it put up for auction, there are some guys with unlimited pocket that are going to be willing to get it and present to some mistress of theirs to be wore for their private viewing. Sad isn't it when million of people can't find anything to eat but that is what this world is coming to
