I see teenagers at the grocery store or something in PJs, and I'm only 32 and I think "My mother would NOT have let me out of the house like that!" And I would've been ashamed to leave that way if she HADN'T been home to stop me.

Jan 14th 2012 9:25AM While the kid had horrible manners, what is wrong with YOU that you would let hot molten cheese fall onto a kid's arm?? And BRAG about it?? That's just horrible! You can't talk about others' poor manners when clearly you have none yourself. (Calling kids "porkers"-- really?) If you were truly of superior manners as you seem to think, you'd rise above it and not stoop BENEATH that level.

Jan 14th 2012 9:21AM LOL! I think you're right there... It does sound that way. But, a lot of people seem so "entitled" lately. I've read complaint articles about "not allowing little children to fly" because it "inconviences" other passengers. Whatever! You might HAVE to fly somewhere, have no choice--- like a parent would willingly take their children on a flight, which is unpleasant for the child, unpleasant for the parent... it's silly the over-inflated sense of entitlement... what about army families who have to move to a base overseas? Seriously...

Jan 14th 2012 9:17AM I think large groups feed off of each-other and make each-other worse than if those same people came separately, you know what I mean? And age doesn't really matter, either. It seems like larger crowds and when certain people get together... just... bad combo. Like, a kid or a grown man is going to be more racous when his three brothers are around egging him on than when he's alone. It's the unintentional "show off" gene, I guess.

May 31st 2011 11:23AM I've thought from the get-go he looks like a boy, too, but maybe he's a hermaphrodite? That's all I can think of that would justify the "letting the kid choose it's gender". Because you're BORN a gender-- unless you're born with both.

Apr 11th 2011 8:58AM You're right, but there is compromise. In my mind, from the time I was little, I was named after my grandfather, so, I was going to name my firstborn son after him. Well, my husband wanted to name our firstborn son after HIS grandfather. So... we hyphenated, and it made a GORGEOUS name.
