I've discussed this with my father. My father has asked me (As the most unconventional of his 3 daughters), that if I do get married, that I do it just how I want (I want to elope, really. Vegas, baby.). He is more than happy to throw me an amazing reception when I get married, but not everyone wants to walk his 'little girl' down the aisle.
Especially since he and I have never been a traditional father&daughter pair.

Mar 3rd 2010 12:19PM As a college student, I can say this. I have ADD, and having one earphone of my Ipod in, helps me focus on the lecture or labwork. The background noise is enough to give my brain something else to function with as well, and keeps me from doodling or daydreaming.

Feb 14th 2010 9:45AM Apparently you're not familiar with Kevin Smith. The man calls himself a fatty, but he's not one of the gross, rotund people that take up more than their seat. He has a respectable beer gut, yes. But the man's not going to ooze into your seat.
He's a smart, funny, kind person I've had the pleasure of getting to meet. If half the people I had to fly next to were like him, I could count myself incredibly lucky.
