Jail Time for Phoenix Man Who Hosted Bible Study at His Home {AOL Real Estate}
Jul 8th 2012 11:48AM How can 20 people in his backyard once a week be a problem?!?! I know people who throw parties weekly with that many attendees. This is absurd!
Can Being Too Perfect a Parent Mess Up Your Kids? {ParentDish}
Jun 20th 2011 6:02PM As another teacher w/her 2 cents to add, I see TEACHERS problem-solving every social situation for their students all day long, too. It's not just the parents who are responsible for raising a generation incapable of being self-reliant and resilient; it's the overall culture of American society. We take care of our children's every whim to the extent of them never learning how to stand on their own two feet, and then we wonder why they're still living at home at 27, why it takes them 7 years to earn a 4 year degree, why they are married w/children but their parents are paying for their cars or Visa cards, etc. It's sad, but I don't think you're going to change that about American culture. Look at the Chinese - TOTALLY different attitude. Children are born and raised that THEIR ROLE IS TO TAKE CARE OF (AND RESPECT) THEIR ELDERS.... and, magically, they DO! In the procsess, they magically learn how to be extremely self-sufficient but humble, appreciative, respectful, etc.
Iranian aircraft crash caught on new video {Gadling}
Jun 4th 2011 7:30PM I am not going to bicker as to the how or why the plane crashed, but I can't help but comment on the fact that sh*t and f*ck must be universal cuss words!
Charlie Sheen: 'I Don't Know Where My Children Are' {PopEater}
Mar 2nd 2011 9:45AM CPS looks out for the rights of the CHILDREN; they're there to protect the CHILDREN, which means the parents do NOT know where they are, in order to keep them safe, sadly FROM their parents, usually!

SmackDown: Would You Make Your Kid Drink Hot Sauce as Punishment? {ParentDish}
Feb 1st 2011 8:58PM We need to require parenting classes in infancy, and then again in pre-adolesence, in order for parents to get to claim their child/children on their income taxes. The courts require "Co-Parenting After Divorce" classes to be taken by both parties in divorce; until those classes have been completed, the judge won't sign the divorce decree. Why don't we realize the value in that for ALL parents, and the benefit for ALL children....?!?!?!

Derek Anderson Flies Off Handle in Postgame Press Conference {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Nov 30th 2010 6:31AM Anderson needs to go. I'm one of the AZ fans who finds his lack of leadership (not to mention SKILLS) pathetic. Leadership includes knowing how to handle yourself in the media, and this tirade only shows how lacking Anderson is in that department, and ALL areas of being a quarterback in the NFL.

Nov 30th 2010 6:22AM Leinart did not have the leadership that the Cards, or any NFL team, need; neither does Anderson. Leinart will also never lead any team to any title. Good riddance to Leinart, and here in AZ, we'll be celebrating the day the organization bids ado to Anderson, too.
John Travolta and Kelly Preston Welcome Baby {PopEater}
Nov 24th 2010 6:29PM I'm surprised that so many are expressing happiness about this. No one as old as the two of them should be having a baby! There is SO much research that shows, beyond a doubt, the potential harms of giving birth at a later age. In obstetrics/gynecology, any woman past the age of 35 who is pregnant is labeled a "geriatric" pregnancy in her medical file. And it's not just women ~ the children of father older than 35 have an increased likelihood of birth defects, learning disabilities, language delays... and even non-hereditary schizophrenia. And who thinks it will be pleasant or fun for this boy to have a 66 year old mom and a 74 year old dad when he is a senior in high school?
