Unhappy with your cruise? Stage a mutiny! {WalletPop}

Dec 18th 2007 1:25PM We are going on our third Cruise, this time to the Mexican Rivera in Jan.. can't wait! In Alcapulco we are not taking an excursion during the day, but going on our own. Any suggestions about getting around the city? I don't have time to complain about what is not perfect on the cruises I have been on. We are too busy having fun doing what is. We were on one cruise with a group of at least 30, that would not wait in ANY line (litteraly) they just walked into the front of the lines at the buffet and reached between you. They also got into a family "throw down" in the middle of one of the shows and were thrown out. I still think that was the best Cruise I have been on. We made the best of everything good on he Cruise. No one can ruin my good time but me.

'Tubby Tax' on the way for obese travelers? {That's Fit}

Nov 15th 2007 8:33PM It saddens me to read all of these comments about obese people. I have sat next to a CEO that tried to pick me up on a 3 hours flight. Now that was gross! I have sat next to people that were drunk and obnxious. And I have sat next to children that made my flight miserable. I totally agree with Sharon. Maybe there should be a designated area for people with children. But, I have never sat next to a larger person that offened me. Please try and be more understanding and tolerant. You never know, things in your life may chang at some point, and you may be that "Tubby Person".

Stereotypes of Tourists, from a British Perspective {Gadling}

Jan 25th 2007 11:46PM Dear Patrice, please tell me what area you are in so that I don't make the mistake of going to your coffee shop. I would really hate to make you wait on a Texan, as I am sure I or my money are not good enough for you. AND, I really mean that.

$20 Million Wedding Cake {Luxist}

Oct 24th 2006 2:40PM While I feel that we have a reasonable responibility to help our neighbors, I have to agree with Billy. My upbriging was not optimal either, but, I choose not to live that lifestyle, or sit around blameing someone else for my misfortunes. I am sure that the cake is a novelty, and although I personally believe spending a bundle on a wedding is a waste, it should be up to the idividuals what they spend. And too, how many people keep a roof over their heads by providing these services? It would be sad to see all the businesses that do weddings go out of business, and put a lot of people out of work. Enterprize in America, isn't t great!!!!

Guilty Pleasures: Grease {Cinematical}

Jul 7th 2006 12:44PM Grease is a fun movie period! My kids grew up watching it on TV and learned the words to the songs to sing them with me. Although they will probably not admit it,I am sure that it brings special memories of Mom singing with Sandy and Rizzo. No it was not an Academy acclaimed movie, but after all these years, people are still enjoying the music and talking about it, and to me that makes it one of the best.

Dixie Chicks' Reality TV Picks {The Boot}

Jun 26th 2006 11:30PM I too believe that we are entitled to express our opinion, I believe that we in this country have earned that right. BUT, I have a big problem with someone going to another country to entertain, and talking about being ashamed of our president. I agree that there are alot of things wrong with this war, but I don't think it is right to go to our allies in another country say it. It should stay here where we have earned that right!

TheCarConnection launches "speeding excuses" contest! {Autoblog}

Jun 18th 2006 6:57PM I am 48 years old and luckily I have had only one ticket since I started to drive. I was in my early 20's and had been at a club with some friends. There was a guy there that I had seen several times with the group, but didn't really know. This guy was beyond drunk! I have always been responsible about drinking and driving, so being the kind hearted soul tha I am I offered to take him home, and a friend pick me up with my car. Well we hadn't been in the car two minutes unti this guys was all over me!! I was driving with one hand, and trying to hold him off with the other. I did not realize that I was speeding until I saw the flashing lights. When the officer came to the car he said the dreaded "do you know how fast you were going?" I told him no, but that it wasn't my car, and this guys was chewing on my neck! (I was really scared) He laughed as he handed me the ticket, and told me to slow down, and try not to get chewed up!
