What Can I Get You Folks? - The 20 Percent Tipping Point {Slashfood}
Sep 2nd 2009 5:51AM Yes if $ 60 is 20 % you should . Servers must claim you tip them a certain amount whether you do or not and they may have to pay busboys ect. on top of that. And yes pizza drivers are now considered " servers " which means drivers make less than min. wage .
And to all you cheapskates a dollar is not a TIP unless you are living in 1972 ! And to not tip at all is so wrong . Hope you or your kids must wait tables, live on tips for at least 2 months out of your life ... you would never stiff again !

Does Dairy Queen Think You Can't Add? {Slashfood}
Feb 14th 2009 2:07AM You pay 1.90 delivery charge at a certain pizza place. Gas dropped , did your delivery charge and frankly no one complained so why should the company give up 1.90 pure profit with no complaints.
Deceptive enough to call it a delivery charge when it does NOT go to delivery driver and then they fleece you this way. Watch any big business , the bottom line is all that matters.

Feb 13th 2009 5:02AM Servers make 2.01 an hr, Im sure with last pay hike it's a bit more , but you get the point you may as well stick a gun to poor servers head because it is like armed robbery , in the fact that you are taking money from their pocket when you don't tip.
Frankly I think it's a wonderful idea. You know what your total is, for those that can't compute 15- 20% ,and stiffers no longer have the excuse " Well, your employer should pay you a fair wage . "
How about do not eat out if you can't/won't tip, believe me those servers will NOT miss you !
