May 15th 2010 10:16AM I had to do a smiliar thing last year when a similar situation happened to me.
I would advise to get a lawyer and try to ge the ordinance changed.
I spoke with the Dept. of Agriculture who advised me that if you keep it in your house its not an issue. The neighbors can be more vicious than any animal.
The ordinance needs to be changed for your location not necessarily your county. Also since when is an exotic pet classified as a farm animal was my argument. I would ditch the girlfriend, and if you have to get your pet you can get another one online at certain websites, they ship to you. If your girlfriend really really loved you she would work with you on the pet issue, your best friend does not deserve to be destroyed.
