iRenew Balance Bracelet Backs Off Health Claims, Group Says {WalletPop}
Feb 21st 2011 12:10AM Part of me thinks, "Sue the manufacturer into immediate bankruptcy". Another part of me thinks, "Anyone foolish enough to purchase one of these hoaky devices deserves to be scammed!" At the very least, what ought to happen is that the manufacturer should be heavily fined for the advertising it has done thus far. Personally, I'm a bit saddened to know that I won't get to laugh my head off at their absurd commercials anymore. But I still get to laugh when I see the iRenew on the wrist of any "i-idiot" who bought one!
Star Jones Hired Security to Keep 'Unhinged' NeNe Leakes Away {PopEater}
Feb 11th 2011 9:11AM I hope she's not a 'real' celebrity. If she is, I really do live in a cave because I'VE NEVER HEARD OF HER until now.
Super Bowl Cameras Catch Cameron Diaz Feeding A-Rod {PopEater}
Feb 7th 2011 3:01AM First of all -- WE SAW IT. Secondly, WHO CARES? Have you nothing better to discuss?
Christina Aguilera Botches National Anthem at Super Bowl, Admits Mistake {PopEater}
Feb 7th 2011 2:58AM The biggest flub was NOT the botched lyrics. It was the absolutely HORRIBLE presentation of a song that is not meant to be sung with so-called artistic liberty! She wasn't Rosie horrible, but she was REALLY CLOSE! Even if Christina had hit the lyrics perfectly, that performance STUNK!
Elton John Magazine Censored By 'Family Shield' in Supermarket {PopEater}
Jan 27th 2011 1:36PM What I don't understand is why this event rates as front cover news. It is a private family matter. By choosing to pose for the cover, these atypical (male-male) parents are knowingly drawing attention to themselves. Why? Because of the break from traditional family structure it is attention-getting. My heterosexual neighbors weren't asked to pose with their (biological) newborn. To publish such a thing and not expect controversy is idiotic. I can tell you one thing for certain. In spite of the financially secure upbringing this child will enjoy, I'm glad I'm not that child. There is nothing natural or normal about same-sex child rearing, and it is likely to have innumerable adverse consequences for most children.
Gretchen Wilson Reminds Kanye West She Was His First {The Boot}
Jan 23rd 2011 9:51PM What is a "Kanye" anyway? I must live in a cave (or just stay too busy all of the time)! Never even heard of him.
Oh Ricky, You Weren't Fine: Gervais Banned From Globes Hosting Duties? {PopEater}
Jan 17th 2011 11:53PM My guess is that the whole situation was a miscalculated attempt to gin up public interest in an annual event that is as boring and pretentious as a Mutual Admiration Society. Oh, wait! I suppose that's what it really is. Anyway, I think they got burned by their own poor judgment to hire the host they hired.
Camille Grammer Meets Kelsey's New Love: 'It Was a Little Uncomfortable' {PopEater}
Jan 14th 2011 3:08PM I don't know which woman is who, but you ought to know who I mean when I say: "COULD HER BREASTS LOOK ANY NASTIER AND MORE FAKE?" I don't think so. To the ladies who have not yet tragically plasticized themselves please note -- a lot of men HATE implants. There is no quicker, more effective turn-off in the world for me.
Pilot Holds Plane for Grandfather Of Murdered Toddler {AOL Travel News}
Jan 14th 2011 10:36AM This is yet another fine example -- and the most heartwarming of examples -- why I choose Southwest Airlines as my carrier-of-choice whenever possible. My deepest sympathies go out to Caden's family.
Warhol Screenprints Sell High At Auction {Luxist}
Jan 13th 2011 6:59AM Warhol wasn't feeling very clever and creative when he agreed to the 'collaboration' and added the labels. I think 'Warning Shot' and 'Hellava Shot' would have been much better than 'bullet hole'. Both are bullet holes.
