What's That Song From the Volkswagen 'Black Betty' Commercial? {Spinner}

Feb 7th 2011 10:47AM I rarely read comments posted after news stories, but Nancy, man, you need to get a life. It's just some lame write up about a Super Bowl ad on the Internet, not an English thesis.

Led Zeppelin Reject Another Reunion Bid {Spinner}

Mar 25th 2010 1:29AM Very few bands will have the power that Led Zeppelin has had over rock-n-roll. The Beatles are one, Pink Floyd is another and maybe U2. I do believe that many years from now, not only will people still be listening to these groups, but universities will be holding classes on their music.

I would give my last dollar to see Led Zeppelin perform. But if the boys don't want to, I respect that as well.

(hey robert plant, my birthday is in may, get the guys together and come over to my house for a little jam session...i won't tell anyone)

School District Apologizes for MLK Lunch Menu {ParentDish}

Jan 14th 2010 1:21AM I am from the south and I am white and I would love to eat that lunch. Are you kidding me, fried chicken, collard greens, sweet potatoes at school lunch prices! What a perfect lunch.

I have told my wife that I could never move up north where they did not have a Popeyes Fried Chicken place in town. And I am not joking about any of this. And no, I don't weight 300 pounds.

Mahindra distributor reportedly says first U.S. models to hit market in spring {Autoblog}

Dec 26th 2009 12:01PM I remember when Toyota made trucks like that...in 1975. Toyota is the world leader in the compact truck business because they no longer build trucks that look like this Marhindra.

Also, do we really need another car/truck product from another third world country?

Jami Bernard's Ad Rant: Why would you want it in the can? {WalletPop}

Oct 15th 2009 1:25PM I don't know who this Jami Bernard is, but could she be anymore monotone in her speaking? I was about to put a bullet through my head just listening to her.

She never made a valid point during her nearly 3 minute rant. And why is her opinion so important that someone put her on the web.

I don't drink BL Lime because to me beer should not have to be flavored but I am sure, no, I know, the target audience for this ad, 21-34 year olds will love it whether they drink the product or not.

Oh, and Jami, its a cute little play on words...now do you get it. And try to smile more in life, you will soon find out you have a better purpose in life other then ragging on BL Lime commercials.

Father Wants Baby-Snatching Wolf-Dog Hybrid Back Home {Pawnation OLD}

Aug 27th 2009 1:22AM All of you people who thinks this so called dog should get a second chance are idiots. This 'animal' was part K-9 and part wolf. It was NOT a dog or family pet. It still had too much wild in him.

All animals that carry their young in their mouths (including alligators and crocodiles) do not injure their young. This hybrid nearly killed this child. So stop using this as an excuse or reason.

Having no children myself and having dogs always around me, I can say I like dogs better then kids. As much as I hate to see any dog destroyed or kept from his family, this dog, or as the story plainly stated, hybrid, has no business going home to the same family.

Renters are happier (and thinner) than homeowners {WalletPop}

Jun 16th 2009 2:07AM This study is so under researched its not funny. In fact, it should have never been published. But what do you expect with the Internet.

Not to mention what most of you people have already talked about, lets talk education. The better educated you are, the more likely you will be a home owner. I know this because the better education you have, the more money you are capible of making. The more money you make, the more likely you will become a home owner instead of a renter.

There are execptions to EVERY rule so don't take mine as the final word on this subject.

And this is not to discount those few high school gradutes who make six figures or more each year. Bill Gates comes to mind, He dropped out of college to start his own business. He is doing pretty good for himself, even as a home owner. But most drop outs are not Bill Gates.

Also, the better education you have goes hand in hand with your eating habits. People with a college degree will typically have better eating habits then those with a high school education or lower. So I question the extra 12 pounds of the home owners without more data.

As I said at the beginning, this ONE article is so imcomplete in its research, it should have never been published.

Burlington Coat Factory: Pulling the wool over our eyes {WalletPop}

Mar 10th 2009 9:33PM Why would this surprise anyone?

If you recall, about six years ago, Burlington Coat Factory was busted for selling fur coats they bought from China. Some of these fur coats were made from dog hair. And no, I am NOT making this up and it is NOT an urban legand.

I guess the Chinese do use all parts of the dog after they butcher them to eat.

BCF has just cemented their place in business history as the worst run company of all time. Like the wussies that they are, they are once again deflecting the blame to someone else. If they ran the company they way they should, by inspecting the products that they buy and demanding top quaility from their suppliers then none of this would happen. They alone are to be blamed for this latest transgression.

Airplane Mechanic Causes $100M Damages After Pushing Wrong Button {Switched}

Jul 23rd 2008 9:27PM If you think women are the only people who srew this up in the work place, I give you George W. Bush and all of the idiots who voted for him not once, but twice.

I used to think that there is no way more then 50% of the voting public can be that stupid. That was until I started to read blogs on the Internet.

Now ruining 100 million dollars in five seconds is pretty impressive, but it does not compare to W.'s killing more then 4,000 American service men and women and about 90,000 Iraq civilians

John Henry Doesn't Appreciate Manny's Comments About the Team {Fanhouse MLB Blog}

Jul 18th 2008 1:53PM If Manny would stay out of the Green Monster long enough he may one day hear the old saying, "Don't bite the hand that feeds you."

Would someone in Bean Town explain to him what that saying means because I know he can not figure it out himself.

Manny being Manny is NOT a good thing. Manny is always the worst dressed ball player on any field. He wears a uniform that would be baggy on a 320 pound offensive lineman and that greasey mop on top of his head isn't improving his looks either. Manny being a total slob and disrespecting the game is Manny being Manny.

When Manny was a free agent before he went to the Much Hated Boston Red Sox, the Yankees were looking at picking him up. Man, I am glad they didn't. We didn't want him then and we don't want him now. I hope he leaves Boston and finishes his career with a dismal team like the Kansas City Royals or the Pittsburg Pirates.
