Crime In Mexico: Is Baja Safe For Travelers? {Gadling}
Oct 25th 2012 1:43AM My wife is from Mexico, and we travel there, south of San Carlos, quite often. We have never had a problem during our travel. I have a good friend that owns a home in San Carlos, and spends his winters there, a beautiful home overlooking the ocean. There is crime everywhere, and you just have to be aware of your surrounding take the same precautions anywhere you travel.

Bank Sold Your Loan? Mortgage Settlement May Deal You Out {AOL Real Estate}
Feb 17th 2012 9:56PM I bought my home in June 2006, paid 20 percent down, and another 10,000 on the principle during the next 18 months. I was current on my payments, and tried for 8 months to get a loan modification. I was told by the bank that I had to be 2 months past due before I could be considered for a modification. Well, that was easy, I missed 2 payments, credit went down the toilet, but finally got a modification. I am still underwater by about 70,000 and called about this new program, and they said I did not qualify because my loan was sold to the Fannies. I did not have any idea it was sold because everything I have is in the name of the Bank. I have contacted the White House, my states Attorney General and my bank, and I will not give up.

American Airlines to cut jobs, work remaining force harder {Gadling}
Feb 1st 2012 5:58PM Ever wonder if the executives at American and the other major airlines that are also struggling ever watch the commercial for Southwest Airlines, also, check out how profitable they are, also about their customer service, and their method of doing business? Hell, all they need to do is adopt Southwest Airlines way of doing business. Southwest Airlines employee's loves their company, and it shows in their customer service. The Executives of the other airlines should be scratching their head and wondering why Southwest is so successful. And no, I do not work for Southwest Airlines.

Galley Gossip: How do flight attendants survive on such a small salary? {Gadling}
Nov 29th 2011 11:24AM My daughter was a flight attendant for about 6 months several years ago. She only made $l5.00 per hour flight time, that is the time the aircraft pushed away from the gate, until it pulled into the gate. The rest of the time, was per Diem pay which is less than 2.00 per hour. And the benefit of flying free is a crock also. If you are flying using this benefit, you are flying on stand by, and only able to board if they have a vacant seat. I know, she got stranded where I live for several hours because of the stand by requirement, so that benefit is not to great. She quit after about 6 months because she was unable to make it financially.
Can Any of the GOP Candidates Solve the Housing Crisis? {AOL Real Estate}
Oct 31st 2011 7:53PM I think the only way to help the real estate market, it for the lending institutions to re-finance the homes at their fair market value at a very low interest rate. If the home winds up in foreclosure or winds up in a short sale, the institution still looses. It would make the institutions loose less money this way instead of the home winding up in a foreclosure.
