Nov 24th 2010 9:57PM I still don't think Heidi Montag did anything wrong by electing to have surgery. Her chin reduction was an excellent move, IMO. The Dr. Frank emails, though are disturbing, to say the least. It speaks to a culture of external beauty, and fame for creating that exteranl beauty that is all-pervasive in Beverly Hills. The superficial is pushed on to every young woman who lives there. It's sad they don't spend more time, money and energy on taking care of other people and problems on this planet. Beverly Hills residents choose to isolate against real and true ugliness of inhumanity that exists outside their safe enclave of wealth, beauty and pseudo-power.

Nov 23rd 2010 9:02AM My favorite Christmas memory is of my mother, my brother and I walking 3 blocks to the nursery to get our tree, in a snowstorm...as the snow storm got heavier, and late afternoon fell, we picked out our beautiful Douglas fir, loaded it onto our sled and walked home through the silent winter wonderland, where my dad was waiting to set up the tree and my other brother and sisters were waiting too, with popped popcorn and ornaments and lights, just waiting to decorate!

I just moved to the Jax area, and now I will be watching, cheering on.... my beloved Deadskins, now that McNabb is on board for Washington, and Tebow is not, for Jax.
