I agree with you completely, the average applicant today would have a difficult time completing a basic equivalency test for a high school student. If the only problem was with the lack of oral and written skills I might make a few exceptions but the combination with improper attire and the aire of entitlement that accompanies most; I am truly worried about the future of this country as well as the world.
In the new electronic age, the face-to-face interaction or hand-written letter has almost become a thing of the past. I am very thankful to my parents and teachers each time I am complimented on my vocabulary and penmanship, the ability to communicate properly in the oral and written form has lost its value in todays lifestyle. I may be a little old-fashioned in my views but you will never have a problem understanding what I have said or written.

You are obviously a vegan...the way you are so quick to judge the article and ridicule the "butchering" and "killing of live animals." I have been in the grocery retail industry for 30 years (yes, I started as a butcher's apprentice...it is a VERY specific skill that requires training from a journeyman cutter...especially when taught to strip a side of beef; not the way meat cutters are taught today where the majority of cuts are already made at the packing houses and I retired as a Store Manager) only those who choose not to eat meat will ever make such a pompus comment. From the dawn of time man has consumed protein be it from plants or animals. Without it you never would have evolved the small brain you do posses that unfortunately has allowed you to spew you ignorant rant to the public. Please for the sake of the advancement of the human species, crawl back under your cabbage leaf and wait for the sky to fall...or Al Gore to come to your aide with a Global Warming Emergency Survival Kit!

The difficulties one faces when family is struck with such a horrid illness are too many to describe. Keep faith in the Lord and know you and your family are being prayed for by many fans!
