Female teacher at Houston school suspended {ParentDish}

Jan 13th 2008 12:47PM To John Doe;
So, the good ol' USA is the "Moral Capital of the World" you say? Makes me wonder why the majority of children who are molested happen to be victims of Priests and Ministers....hmmmmm
And while we may be sexually mature at 12 or 13, intellectual maturity still seems to elude people like you.

Students Taught Naughty Text Messaging as Homework {Switched}

Sep 10th 2007 12:29PM Oh c'mon, give the kids a break! Texting is THEIR thing. If they keep coming up with new acromyns, more power to them! Besides, what's the difference between that and writing out whole sentences? The fact that parents are clueless? Oh well! I am a 58 yr. old Grandmother and I can remember making up codes when I was in grade school, to write notes, so no one but our friends could read them. Maybe it's the fact that the kids are smarter and more ingenious than we were is really what's bothering these people!

Mothers Against 50 Cent Coloring Book {Spinner}

Mar 19th 2007 11:50PM PEOPLE! GET OVER IT! SURELY THERE ARE MORE IMPORTANT THINGS TO WORRY ABOUT! OUR KIDS ARE DYING IN THE MIDDLE EAST AND YOU'RE WORRIED ABOUT A COLORING BOOK!?

White Truffles for Winter {Luxist}

Nov 6th 2006 12:38PM #20. Thank you Loralee, I never thought of trying the AG Dept. (We don't have any local "chefs" in this town). We just got our first traffic light!

#19. Could you tell me how you can feed yourself on $169 a month? Plus pay your electric AND phone bills? Those three items cost me around $800 a month! Oh, and Insurance too? Make that $1300 for me. Sure would like your secret!

White Truffles for Winter {Luxist}

Nov 6th 2006 11:10AM I wish I knew more about truffles. Especially how to determine if they are the real thing. I believe we have quite a bit of them growing in our hazelnut orchards in Oregon. If someone could steer me in the right direction I would certainly appreciate it.

Cannabis, the Movie {Cinematical}

Mar 18th 2006 7:09PM I would like to let anyone out there who might be doing a serious study of the effects of long term marijuana use know that I am available as a volunteer. I have been smoking almost daily for well over 40 years. My mind and intellect are still very much intact. Surely someone out there wants to undertake this study. Or perhaps they are afraid of what they might find?

Cannabis, the Movie {Cinematical}

Mar 18th 2006 6:56PM Just want to say this to Ruth! Kudos for telling it like it is! I too have been smoking for better than 40 years and to date have not found any negative effects. If anything, it has enhanced my intellect, wit, sense of humor AND outlook on life. Without it I don't know that I could have coped with some of the attrocities of life. After years of fearing arrest and incarceration, it is now legal for me to smoke it. (Of course I had to first be diagnose with a "debilitating medical condition"), but I guess that is the price one has to pay.
