Randall Godfrey to Bill Belichick: 'You Gotta Show Some Class, Show Some Respect' {Fanhouse NFL Blog}
Oct 29th 2007 9:43AM I, like someone else here, agree and disagree with parts of this. Bill Belichick is a very good coach, however, he has already proven that he isn't afraid to "step outside the box" of the NFL's unwritten gentlemen's coaching etiquette. The Cowboys also made the same "run up the score" accusations while getting pasted by the Patriots two weeks ago. Yes, I also firmly believe that if the defensive players are any good and know how to play the game, they can stop the opposing offense when needed, thus avoiding any "running up the score" scenarios in the first place. Unfortunately for the Redskins, their D-Guys couldn't get it done yesterday. They also had little in the way of help from a dull, Al Saunders offense that appears headed nowhere. While I understand Randall Godfrey's feelings toward Belichick and the Patriots, that is the type of coach he is and the type of team that they are. I lost all respect for Belichick and Tom Brady last year after their classless showing after losing in the AFC Championship game to the Colts and a coach who is probably one of the most genuine and classy men in the game, Tony Dungy. So, whaddya expect from New England anyway?

Jul 28th 2007 2:37AM Caleb needs to calm down a bit. I don't think that "Verbally Challenged" was trying to act superior or get his rocks off. Bruce should at least know how to use words correctly and in their proper tense, whether or not he's the son of Daddy Warbucks. Poor english, my dear Caleb, doesn't sound very good, whether it comes out of the mouth of our illustrious president or some schmuck on the corner with a fifth-grade education. But take heart, Caleb, your unquoted comments were all correct!
