Mar 30th 2010 10:51PM Just as an FYI, you can retire from the military "rich" and early, I suppose. If you do 3-4 tours overseas and get medically retired for injuries, you could easily have 200,000-300,000 in the bank and your pay for the rest of your life.

The way she treated everyone, including her mother in law was apprehensible. And thank goodness, you REAP WHAT YOU SOW.

Jul 27th 2007 9:21PM It is odd that this story is coming out now after soooo many years after the movie came out. To the bloggers who are saying Heather should be ashamed, get a clue. She is a grown woman and as a grown woman she should have made her own decisions. Her parents are religious nuts and THEY should be ashamed.
To the woman who has no idea why her children won't talk to her should sit down and really think about what could be the reason. There IS a reason. But alot of people do not want to admit or even acknowledge what they do to their children.
Taking your life is not an option and it is weakness, not strength that allows people to do this. You need therapy. Please get help. Because something is WRONG. Children do not stop speaking to their parents for NO reason. It sounds like your children also need therapy. I hope you all get the help you need.
