If you said the same thing about blacks, gays, or women, people would label you a sexist racist asshole, but apparently it's socially acceptable to say whatever you want to about overweight people, because, as many of you say, it's a choice that they made by being so lazy & disgusting. Nevermind that a lot of overweight people have been that way since birth, and a lot of them are overweight due to health reasons. Apparently, the issue is that they just don't really want to be skinny. Thanks for clearing that up for them.

Aug 5th 2008 7:51PM This is the dumbest thing I've ever heard of. You can't compare transporting a package to transporting a person. When a person flies, they are paying for the seat, so everyone should pay the same amount for their seat. If airlines are looking to save money, how about they cut the outrageous salaries of their executives and come up with a way to actually make people want to fly. Most people hate to fly nowadays, and see it as a necessary hassle. If the airlines focused more on customer service, and speed and efficiency in their processes, I wouldn't mind paying what it costs to fly.
