A New Look at Champ D'Or, Estate of the Day {Luxist}

Jul 20th 2007 7:30PM This house is about 2 miles from my home, and we watched it being built. Why, oh why would you build an estate of this size in Hickory Creek, TX. There is nothing luxurious grand about this area - N. Central Texas. The best store we have is Wal-Mart!! And only 6 bedrooms? If you own a chateau, you entertain on a grand scale. What do you do - put all your guests in rooms together. I am anxious to see what people who could afford this home have to say about it. Lovely - but just way over the top for this area.
