Jan 13th 2011 9:58PM Um yes. It is a costume for an ADULT. Children should wear age-appropriate costumes and be kids... Not made up like women and sexualized. This costume is just wrong. Her mom may think it is cute or funny but she fails to understand why it is a very poor choice for a child. I don't have a problem with pageants per say if they are constructive and not exploiting young children like aka meat market.

Just because we are a liberal country with unending "rights" does not mean we need to compromise our security. May 4th 2009 2:03PM The liberal media again gets Joe Public to feel sorry for professional terrorists who might be made uncomfortable. Sorry but the word torture is misleading. Torture is pulling out fingernails, knocking out teeth, burning etc...which WE DON'T DO! Our military is trained themselves with mock hostage situations and our own troops get "waterboarded" to understand how it feels and works. They are not physically damaged from, experiencing it. Sure they are scared when it happens but they are not permanently disfigured etc... I am not going to loose sleep over interrogations that could keep this country safe (and Bush DID keep us safe for 8 years BTW). Our media loves to play on emotionalism and mis-use the word "torture" - that is such a strong word. All I know is if given a choice: would I rather be "tortured" by THEM or the USA I would pick the USA hands down. We are not barbaric and I wish the media would quit lying about this.
