Apr 22nd 2011 6:59PM I find it odd the store didnt report the theft that day, had any other person just walked out..the police would have been called right away. I also find it odd the store just didnt pick up the phone and call her to have the item paid for or returned. I think the store was just looking for publicity. The stress of staying sober and going through court is hard enough; its a pity people wont leave this woman alone for 5 seconds

Mar 31st 2011 10:56AM I agree with doing a dry-run. If your vet truly cares about her well-being..they wont mind you bringing her in for an acclimation period. But I would have the staff give her treats and a couple meals...its the staff she needs to learn to trust. I'd also avoid any long, drawn-out emotional goodbyes. Just be matter-of fact...say see ya later beastie..and leave

Mar 31st 2011 10:26AM I'm not trying to be mean..but saying a pet should NEVER be left home alone is silly. If I go grocery shopping or to work..I should take the cat with me? I should ask my neighbor to check in on the cat because I have to run to the bank? That's just not realistic. In order to pay for their vet bills, food, toys, beds..it helps to have a job to go to. This means kitty will have to entertain itself for a few hours
