The Portabello Estate Off the Market -- For Now {Luxist}

Oct 27th 2009 7:46AM )

What a fantastic opportunity to have been able to work on such a true "Masterpiece" in real estate.

I would have loved to have been able to see & walk throughout Portabello in it's entirety - Not just 8 or so pictures which have been released to the general public.

Phil Spector Terrified of His Fellow Inmates {Spinner}

Aug 29th 2009 9:42AM Requirements for Parole:

#1.) Admit to your crime.

#2.) Show genuine remorse for your victim(s).

#3.) Attend several years of therapy/ counseling.

Above is the absolute minimum to be granted Parole in California.

Phil Spector Terrified of His Fellow Inmates {Spinner}

Aug 29th 2009 9:18AM He was NOT sentenced to 19 Years.

He was sentenced to LIFE !!

The "19 years" just means when his parole-hearing will occur for the 1st time, but it does NOT mean he will be granted parole at that very 1st hearing.

He will serve LIFE until he makes parole - IF he makes parole !!

Lap Pool...?? What a waste of an entirely usable Floor.

-

First, I'd get rid of the Family/ Game Room furniture, etc. which is off to the side of the Lap Pool.

I would then re-do that Lap Pool by expanding it throughout the entire Floor into the shape of a Natural Lagoon-Cove found in the Tropics & give it a Black-Bottom.

I would border the Lagoons' edge with Natural Rocks & Stones and at approx. 5-6 different locations alongside the Lagoons' edge, I would have clusters of Large Boulders (3-5 Boulders per Cluster with atleast 1 or 2 Boulders Large Enough to Sit On) including a few Boulders butting out into the Lagoon.

I would have Live Fern's growing up out of the Boulders and a little bit of Soft Green Moss growing on top of some of the Boulders, as well.

At one end of this Black-Bottom Lagoon, I would have a Stack/ Pile of Boulders approx. 10FT-12FT Tall with Live Fern's & other Green Plants growing out of all the sides & the top, then complimented with a Waterfall atop & streaming down the front-side of the Boulders as it takes its natural pathway, the result of running down several different Boulders while finally splashing into the Lagoon at a constant rate.

In certain shallow areas of the Lagoon, I'd have Tall, Round, Stone Post's inserted as underwater seating areas for guests (Similar to Bar-Stools).

I'd also add a sizable Black-Bottom Hot-Tub adjacent to the Lagoon with matching Natural Rock & Stone Edges along with a simple Waterfall pouring out of the Hot-Tub & into the Lagoon.

~ Temperatures ~

Lagoon: 78-F to 82-F
Hot-Tub: 104-F

Including many other "incidentals" which are far too many to name here.

~ So.... How is that for an Indoor Pool Room ??
