On The Lot: Series Finale (2 of 2) {AOL TV}
Aug 22nd 2007 9:08PM THANK GOD for the DVR.... hmmmm ... my night went like this... as I too have been relishing the end of this serie and put my time in.... basically to see where Mr. Spielberg would ever show up....
I fast forwarded thru about 90 percent - since there was no tight revealing shirt on Adriana or legs from here to heaven... I ended up stopping the last 5 minutes.. and said "okay... finally, Mr. Spielberg" and thought to myself.. I bet he would prefer Zach...... I was so certain that Zach was going to win... but oh well... I am sure his career is on the right path.
This has to win the "Reality Sloth Award" for the absolute slowest moving reality show in the history of reality shows -- phew..it's over thank god..
On The Lot: Season Finale (1 of 2) {AOL TV}
Aug 15th 2007 7:36PM I TOTALLY agree with you. I have been watching via the DVR because it is too painful to watch the show & commercials ... even hitting the FF button is painful on this show. Unless the host's boobs are popping out of her dress, there isn't much to hold your attention.
then the finale ? that's a finale -- I literally FF thru half of it if not 3/4 - I thought HOW LAME..we are supposed to sit here and rewatch the same mini movies again ????? I was like "huh" and by the way..where the hell is spielberg ? I realize he is the producer of the show, but would be nice if the man actually made at least 1 sngle appearance - all these people want "to be him" and since he's the producer and his name is dropped almost every episode, it would be nice to see a handshake, a hello, something...
I have to imagine the only reason this show wasn't cancelled was become it has been brandished with the names spielberg and burnett..otherwise, put on I Love Lucy reruns, I would rather watch that.

Aug 10th 2007 5:42PM I used to get TV Guide, then the Sunday TV flyer for tv shows for the week, then I used AOL, then Yahoo TV...
Now I have you... and that's all I need - once a day I await your daily report and I know what I have to put the DVR to when I get home at the end of the day..
You do a great job !!

Judge lets Gordon Ramsay film a second season of his show {AOL TV}
Aug 10th 2007 4:20PM DEFINITELY watch the show on BBC America - Ramsey's Kitchen Nightmares... it's easy to watch and actually he does some good to this restaurants - it does seem that he actually helps...
Basically he walks into a failing restaurant and tells them to pull their heads out of their asses and "This is what you have to do to pull yourself out of debt....."
and of course you have the backlash from the employees of the restaurant who don't want to change ...
it makes from great TV
I never watch BBC America, but in this case.... definitely worth it

John from Cincinnati: His Visit: Day Seven {AOL TV}
Jul 30th 2007 4:44PM Okay few thoughts from southern cali...
1. I do not know why I watch this show. It makes the frustration I have from watching LOST seem trivial. I sit and watch and when it was over I thought " what am I watching ?" I have no clue, but yet it strangely makes me watch week after week.
2. Ed O'Neil deserves an award for this show. I think his acting is superb. Just hearing him scream "jesus christ, jesus christ, jesus christ .... " somehow is amusing in a way that he is so far removed from the character ingrained in our minds of Al Bundy. He is just captivating to watch ... well my opinion at least.
3. Sissy Yost - hmm - I never pay attention to people's acting abilities - but there seems to be lack thereof here ... there is a 'cheese' factor which seem unexplicable when she is on screen that annoys me.
4. I bet these people wish they were on an Island and we're 'lost'. at least - they would have a clear goal in sight. Here, in Imperial Beach...phewww they are beyond "lost" in all its meanings..no pun intended.
That's it from southern cali... Dan

Traveler: The Exchange (series finale) {AOL TV}
Jul 19th 2007 8:57PM what has happened to television the last few years ? My wife refuses to watch any new show that premieres now because she refuses to "fall in love" and then have it yanked by network execs. Point in fact - she made me Tivo "Drive" episode after episode until she was sure itwas going to be a full season. As soon as she read they yanked it.. she made me delete it off Tivo w/o watching one episode.
She says it is not worth investing your time unless you know it is going to be at least a season.
We did the same with Prison Break - we didn't watch one episode until we heard it was renewed... crazy.... but at least we're not throwing knives at the television every time we fall for a show and have it yanked..
I got suckered into Traveler and watched every episode - my wife watched the first 2 episodes - and then stopped even though sh eloved it -
last night she said "suckerrrrrrrrr" "screwed again" to me... as I was kicking and screaming with that crap ending ...
ugh
Burn Notice BETTER n ot get yanked too or I am just going to watch MASH 24/7
Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - July 18 {AOL TV}
Jul 18th 2007 4:15PM As for Amber crying...I call these "commercials" Every time she wails like a banshee in heat, I get up and get myself a Diet Coke - needless to say I drank way too much Diet Coke lately.
Had I still been back in college, I think we would have turned Amber's crying into a drinking game - by which point at the end of the hour, I would have been toasted enough not to care about her crying.
I truly wanted to hang myself momentarily while listening to Jen talk to Eric last night. I am going to hold my own contest to determine how long her breasts in tiny outfits can keep me fixated and entertained versus the nonsensical ravings of a lunatic mind that drone from her daily.
tough call.. even for a man

Jul 18th 2007 4:09PM Just seeing the cover of Wrath of Khan stirs up nothing bu tgood memories. I don't think there is one member of my college fraternity who could not quote multiple lines from this film. My personal fave..
a) the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few, or the one.
b) KIRKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK !
c) From Hell's heart, I stab at thee. For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee.

got to love that last one....ricardo at his finest hour..
Big Brother 8: Live feeds update - July 18 {AOL TV}
Jul 18th 2007 3:28PM All I can say is your synposis is spot on. However, I must say I found myself totally addicted to Jen last night. The only thing that enamored me to her was the thought of her breast finally popping out of that outfit. I couldn't focus on anything else that droned on from Eric's mouth... How that man can sit 6 inches from her and "not notice" her boob fallen out of her shirt and then reply " why would I want to see them at all ?" seemed a bit odd to me.
Well..I couldn't focus at all... reminded me of Poltergeist and "don't go into the light"... I was totally transfixed by her outfit ... but definitely not a word that was uttered from either of them....lol
