Jan 9th 2011 10:31PM I never had anything negative with my name being June and my birth month being the same. Actually, I have fun with it. When someone asks my birthday, I just say .... the 14th. The person looks a little confused and asks what month. If it is someone I know well, I just say think about it. After a minute or two they laugh and say JUNE!!!

Oct 18th 2009 12:40PM My husband was on & off the "waiting list" for a heart transplant for 4 yrs. They screwed him around so long that his kidneys eventually failed. I was expected to just watch my 39 yr old husband die. NOT! This hospital was 3 hrs from home & my husband didn't like it there. They kept having my husband transfered from our local hospital to theirs even though they knew months & months ago they were not going to transplant him (we didnt know). Working with my insurance co, we were trying to have my hubby move to our local hospital. I was going to find another transplant center for him. My hubby told me about a man 3 weeks earlier who had a heart transplant one day and a kidney the next so I figured why couldn't my love. He died last month within 2 days of being transfered. My husband's life was full of miracles. He was born with his heart backwards and wasn't even expected to live. He had died many times and miraculously survivied. I guess he ran out of miracles. Even after all that we had been through, feeling mislead and cheated, I still donated what I could from him...bone and skin. Please, please donate!
