May 9th 2011 12:05PM Thanks for your hard work and nice memories.
Often thought you were over working yourself in so many different business ventures.
Best wishes, get some rest, enjoy your family.
Jan 6th 2011 3:37AM Another sneaky way they are cutting the products is the false bottom plastic jars. The jar bottoms are formed with an indented cone shape which reduces several ounces of the product ...such as Jiff peanut butter, and Mayonaise.
The "power of the pen" may be helpful. Maybe if consumers would write or email the companies and tell them how we feel about their rising prices, etc and packaging tricks.
AND of course now, the "power of the internet", we can voice our opinions such as here, other chat boards, blogs, etc.
Dec 24th 2010 7:47AM A true classic. This is one of our family traditions to watch.
Also, I remember Darrin McGavin as "Casey" (a news photographer) a long ago TV series we watched in the early 50's.
Dec 20th 2010 10:54AM Martha is very sweet, talented and gifted.
She paid her dues.
Lots of people drive BMWs.
Dec 10th 2010 4:21PM Moron! They are happy to drag you down to their level.
Nov 20th 2010 7:34AM Ann Burrell gives an entertaining show while sharing her knowledge as a great chef. Sandra Lee also is entertaining while showing us how to cook semi-home made (which I dare to say-- most households in the USA cook semi-home made most of the time!). Also, a favorite of mine is Nigella - a classy lady too, while down to earth with delicious recipes.
