This "improvement" reproduces the same error of conventional coffee cups - huge exposed surface so that the temperature will drop precipitiously in a short time. The only "improved" cup I've seen is a metal thermos like model manufactured for Starbucks with a small opening for drinking that can be sealed between sips.
