Feb 14th 2011 8:24PM Sounds like human error. IF it is correct about the New York Time's and the period they were speaking of, it is human error on Whoopi's part..understandable. I just have a feeling that somehow the way it was all worded lead her to think she had been overlooked.
Over sensitive, perhaps, but that is also VERY understandable.
Being black and considering our history, she has every right to be proud. VERY proud.
(Of course..I revere the woman..so..I may be biased here!) :)

Feb 11th 2011 11:00AM When the Star Spangled Banner is sung, it is the song that should be showcased, NOT the singer's voice! Why they have to try and promote themselves instead of the song and it's meaning is beyond me. Christina and others have taken the opportunity to show off and I think it's shameful.
That song tells of brave men and women during wartime, danger and a country standing proud and strong NOT how well some singer can sing! I cringe every time they get up there and show off...and that is exactly what they are doing!!

Jan 30th 2011 4:11PM It's certainly not a very welcoming home at all and gives the feeling of being all closed in at a place where you should be able to feel the beauty of the seashore. You could put up large paintings of the ocean and turn on sound and have the same thing...nope. Not attractive at all.
What on earth is all that wood on the sides..other homes nearly in your yard? Awful..just awful!
That much money to just say you live in Barry's home is ...silly! Not my idea of staying at the beach..or LIVING at the beach for that matter.
I know what property sold for there at one time...which make anyone paying that much money...never mind. I've got dishes to do! Good luck, Barry!
